There are a lot of great Boomers out there. But they didn't build this country into a superpower. They brought us the sexual revolution and the divorce epidemic and mass migration, and plunged the country into trillions of dollars of debt in the process. They will leave the country much poorer and less stable than it was when they inherited it. That's just a fact.

You are so WRONG! The “Boomer” slander on this app is out of control. They literally built this country into the Global Superpower it is today. They have EARNED every penny of Social Security they PAID for and then some!

Tired of this excuse. First of all, social security is not something you “pay into.” If it were, you wouldn’t need younger people to “pay into it” in order to get your check. But you do. Because this is a Ponzi scheme, not a retirement account. What you really mean to say is that your money was stolen from you — which it was — and now you want to steal from younger people to get restitution. That’s the actual case you’re making and it’s exactly as morally deranged as it sounds. Second, your generation continually for decades voted for politicians who would keep the scheme going. You might not have invented social security, but you damn sure made certain it kept going. Why should younger people have to pay the price for the shitty policies you supported? Third, you “paid into” social security in a different time. The country is now bankrupted and 40 trillion dollars in debt, and basic things like housing are prohibitively expensive. It wasn’t like that when you were young, because your generation of leadership created this problem. So the theme here is that there are a bunch of problems you guys either created or contributed to. You can choose to pay the price for that now, or force your grandchildren to pay the price so you can live comfortably until you die and leave them holding the bag. You’ve chosen the latter, and I think that’s wrong. Simple as that.

Matt, the older people expecting Social Security have PAID INTO IT their entire lives. Young people are just doing the exact same thing we did. They're not getting some special punishment to subsidize older people. And older people have a higher net worth BECAUSE THEY'VE WORKED!

Today's Hollywood Values.... PRIMETIME demonizes the reporter trying to stop child rapists. SOCIAL RECKONING demonizes corporations for not censoring political speech and opinions. DIGGER attacks everyday people for using oil to better their lives. When these people tell you who they are through their "art," believe them. AI will soon end the bottleneck on entertainment production held by the fascist left. Normal People will soon be allowed to make entertainment for Normal People with the same production values. I can't wait.

I believe @TylerGillett (the writer) is very much aware that fans absolutely despise the divorced/dead lovers trope that ruined Han/Leia, Deckard/Rachel, Riker/Deanna and Indy/Marion recently. I know alot of fans made their voices quite clear last year when it was announced and I know he liked my tweet espousing the same sentiment. Fingers Crossed that that shitty trope isnt part of #TheMummy4
If they pull the divorced legacy sequel card on rick and evie for the mummy 4 i’ll be so mad, no separation, no learning to love each other again bs their bond is too strong for that lazy writing. Let them be the ultimate power couple they've always been, keep them happily married

I used to have a lot of libertarian tendencies. I've read all the standbys of modern libertarian thought: Hayek, Mises, Rothbard, and so on. So I was very interested in watching Trump speak at the Libertarian Party freak show this weekend. On the issues of war, guns, property rights, free speech, free religion, the 4th amendment, and more, Trump is a MASSIVE win for any libertarian who wants to see their ideas turned into policy. But today's Libertarian Party isn’t about that. Today's Libertarian party is about being a purist, ideological zealot obsessed with being “more libertarian” than the person next to you. Instead of figuring out how to protect core constitutional freedoms that are under threat, or figure out achievable ways to have more freedom in our day-to-day lives, today's libertarians are the people who debate whether we should have traffic lights or whether we should abolish policing and prisons. At their best, libertarians are a heathy check on statist politicians who want to ruin our currency, start stupid wars, and shred the Constitution. That’s a healthy impulse and a necessary part of any American political movement. In reality, the Libertarian party is a strange combination of criminal sympathizers, drug pushers, drug addicts, and people who celebrate a hedonistic lifestyle. It’s not about liberty, it’s about license: Doing whatever you want with no responsibilities and no consequences. Not only is this deeply unpopular, it’s also damaging to our country and completely stupid. You'll find libertarians taking the weirdest views, from getting rid of pedophile laws to making all drugs legal. That’s what the Libertarian party has become. Milton Friedman had it right: “I am a libertarian with a small 'l' and a Republican with a capital 'R'. And I am a Republican with a capital 'R' on grounds of expediency, not on principle.” He knew any involvement in a side show would splinter our forces and help Marxists win. Trump deserves massive praise for having the balls to go into the unruly clown car that was the Libertarian convention. There are still millions of liberty-minded decent people who watched intently as Trump laid out his agenda and why he is the best person to advance their cherished ideas. For the libertarians who genuinely love liberty, and not just weird fetishes and fringe self-destructive lifestyles, Trump is the only option.

PlayStation thought the game was called physical and had to back out
As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.

My prediction turned out to be true. King Ghidorah, aka Monster Zero, is part of Godzilla Minus Zero. This will be the greatest Toho monster film of all time. The new trailer is jaw-dropping. #GodzillaMinusZero youtu.be/kw0YhiqOPFg?is=EDco…

The “socially conscious” bickering between Green Arrow and Green Lantern was almost 60 years ago now. It’s as relevant today as ALL IN THE FAMILY or WATERGATE. It’s no longer the definitive era of GL. Geoff’s version is. There is definitely room for some racial tension in the comic, but John Stewart’s childhood doesn’t take place in 1962 anymore. It’s been moved to 1996. People are sick of the identity politics and victimhood.
The comic's most well known era was famous for this "socially conscious" shit. It's baked into the franchise. How many panels of Neal Adams art needs to be posted in these threads before this avenue of complaining is abandoned?

I 100% called the "You be askin' a black man if he be afraid in America n shit?" two weeks ago. Absolutely pathetic. It's a blue skinned alien in your kitchen, you stupid bitch. LOL
John Stewart’s mom is teaching a guardian of the universe about racism and scolding her for not knowing about it😭 😂

Lanterns ep3 was dogshit. Way to prove that Jon Stewart cannot carry the show himself seeing as the only enjoyable part of this episode were the 3 mins Kyle chandler’s hal Jordan was on screen. The racial poltics/bitching better be done or this show is dead.

The West is handing over the world's economy to China. To China, for God's sake: an unimaginably brutal totalitarian regime. And why? So our hypocritical elite can continue to style themselves as planetary saviors? Enough demoralizing doom-crying. Enough despicable praying in public. Enough subverting our children's future. Enough pointless impoverishing of Europe and Australia. Enough bloody Net Zero idiocy. Enough.

I will definitely say that this whole affair has reminded me of the Michael Chrichton essay about the Gell-Mann amnesia effect, where you read a newspaper story on a subject you know fairly well and realize the reporter has no idea what he’s talking about. Then you flip to the next page and just assume *this* new reporter is an expert in economics or whatever other subject you don’t know all that well. Listening to people be like “well in the original Greek of the poem, it really has this grandeur” hits different when you can sort of just tell from the look in their eyes they’re full of it. It’s like listening to someone older than you use slang from your generation. Like even if it’s technically correct it’s just…off. And don’t get me wrong, I am one thousand percent delighted that people are discovering Homer for the first time through this movie. Or coming back to it after a long time away and dimly remembering—oh yeah! That happens! That’s one thing. But it’s a completely different thing when guys get on X and be like “Nolan has completely INVERTED Homer’s meaning” and you’re like my dude can you do me a favor and just summarize for me the basic plot sequence of Homer’s poem without googling and/or name two characters besides Odysseus and Penelope And then I realize, this is how I must sound when I talk about like, the Strait of Hormuz after a frantic hour spent grilling Claude and scrolling the Encyclopedia Britannica. Which I totally have done and will try to do less from now on but probably will continue to do sometimes because I am a flawed and silly dingus like everyone else. And the crazy thing is, this is an extremely avoidable embarrassment that we could all just *not* bring upon ourselves! We’ve all had the experience of having to go to a seminar when you haven’t done the reading. It’s extremely uncomfortable! In school it was sometimes forced upon us. But as an adult talking about whatever’s in the news this second you have the option to just…not pretend to know about it right off the bat and wait to form an opinion? Like you can say huh, I’m learning about this thing for the first time, here’s how it seems right now but maybe someone could tell me more about it? There’s no shame in that. In fact there’s a lot *less* shame than being like herp de derp, I am now an expert on trade routes I just learned about five minutes ago I guess what I’m saying is life is much less stressful and less humiliating if you go through it in a posture of curiosity, and this experience is prompting self-reflection in me about how I could do more of that and so be less of a dingus.
