🚨 WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE OFFICER FOUND GUILTY OF RAPING WOMAN PRIOR TO JOINING THE FORCE
West Yorkshire Police PC Jo Lavender, 45, has been found guilty of rape following a trial at York Crown Court.
Lavender, who was working in Leeds District when suspended, was convicted of one count of rape relating to an offence committed in 2002 — three years before he joined the force.
The victim came forward in December 2024 to report the attack.
Lavender is due to be sentenced on 3 November.
