As I had warned, I am deleting twitter unless the location thing is getting pulled. It is way too stressful to work around. Je supprime twitter à moins que la localisation soit enlevée, c'est beaucoup trop stressant à gérer. Je suis sur blue ky : redisnd

MyChart is being sued for 5.5 million dollars for releasing patients information to Meta, and other companies. Let’s talk about how fucked up this actually is
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
BJC HealthCare settled a $5.5M+ class action (up to $9.25M) alleging its MyChart portal shared patient data with Meta via tracking pixels. MyChart is Epic software; the health system, not Epic/MyChart, was sued. hipaajournal.com/bjc-healthcare… newsnationnow.com/health/mychart…

It’s so weird how defanged music is now. I’m not even talking about music that was overtly political but musicians used to reference politics in their songs casually in the past. Even rap, which is supposed to be the radical genre, has little to nothing about it anymore.
you know, we've always had politically driven music to describe the times...and now?

First I am hearing of this, but it is deeply alarming. It makes my stomach hurt. We WILL be alive to witness The Water Wars. The End of Water is rapidly approaching, & yet we’re not allowed to conserve or plan, we’re only allowed to build infinite data centers.
has anyone heard what’s been going on in puerto rico!?? due to the drought they are cutting peoples water off for 48 hours and then they can have it on for 48 hours at a time omg

Britney’s a genuine generational talent that impacted both music & culture- one of those rare people born for stardom, and her depraved family & the legal system really destroyed her self worth and ambition to the point where she never wants to make music again. It’s devastating

One of the most interesting things about kink is how often “I want you to control me” actually means “I want to trust someone enough that I can stop controlling everything.”

You REDUCE crime by eliminating POVERTY. The reason so called nice neighborhoods have lower crime rates is because people’s basic needs are being met. It is not because of police, alarm systems, or neighborhood associations. Poverty creates crime.

“I want my kids to live better than I did.” Is basically the story of human existence until this one weird generation showed up.

I don’t understand the obstinance. Why is “young people should have a better standard of living” controversial? Is not the entire objective of society to make production more efficient to improve standard of living? shouldn’t these rewards predominantly flow to the young?

in your lifetime, you’ll meet a man that you believe is misunderstood by others and actually kind if given the chance. it is VERY important you never interact with him because everyone else is right, he is evil.

Stop being okay with things you really are not okay with. Stop associating being a good person with how much you're willing to suffer in silence. You can be a kind person and still say "I'm not okay with this." Being kind is not about being the human equivalent of a doormat.

when she talks about how much she loved music and performing pre-conservatorship it makes me so angry about what they robbed her of
Britney Spears seemingly reveals that she’s done with music for good in latest lengthy post: “I don’t want to be in the business and frankly the thought of the business … It’s not like it was when I was younger … My intention and mindset were in a completely different place when I used to perform… Not one time in those 15 years was it ever me and the way I used to think … I was shamed, embarrassed and forced to do all of it.”

the thing that sucks about not getting cared for as a child is that there is no unconditional caretaker in adulthood. you just miss out.

I was a 911 dispatcher for 11 years and this is the worst idea you could possibly think of. You have scenarios where the person can’t speak well either language barriers, injuries or if they’re in a domestic situation and they pretend to call for pizza or something you need a person. You have to be able to determine how someone feels or pick up on what they aren’t saying or how they’re saying things. Same goes for open lines and hang ups. A real person needs to answer the phone not only to ensure the correct response is sent to the right place but to offer piece of mind to the caller and makes them feel safer. Situations where I had to give CPR instructions to a mother and father who’s baby wasn’t breathing was a constant occurrence and you have to be able to calm people down, an AI is not doing that ever. Same goes for dispatching calls, AI cannot do that, in theory it sounds ok for that portion but you have to acknowledge what resources are on hand, where people are, GPS isn’t always accurate so when we started using systems to automatically reroute units who were flagged as “closer” they usually weren’t. But a real person who lives in that county and knows the area, where the stations are, who’s in a move up or coverage or areas that are blocked off due to events that aren’t always in our mapping systems. The list goes on. Terrible idea
AI is now answering 911 calls in New Orleans. The AI handles incoming calls and is supposed to analyze and prioritize the calls so that if multiple people phone in about the same incident, the chatbot will handle the repetitive calls about the same incident. Critics warn that the automatic speech recognition systems may cause problems, the AI may hold hidden biases, and that human 911 responders are needed. shreveporttimes.com/story/ne…
