"Four years. The same girls. One very important tradition. ❤️
I’m especially grateful to @RedHat for continuing to prioritize employee wellness through our quarterly Recharge Days.
For the past four years, a group of us has turned these days into our own tradition — coming together to slow down, relax, reconnect, laugh a lot, and truly recharge.
In a world where it can be easy to stay constantly 'on,' having a company intentionally give its employees permission to step away and reset means more than you realize.
Thank you, Red Hat, for recognizing that taking care of your people matters — and for giving us the space to create traditions like this one along the way.
Here’s to four years of Recharge Days with some of my favorite girls… and hopefully many more." -Kelly N., Senior Client Director

It’s wonderful that @RedHat still gives us one Recharge Day every quarter. 🙏 That extra day off is more than a perk. It fits the same open source culture Red Hat was built on: community, sustainability, and the idea that people do their best work when they have room to rest and reset.
Open source is not only about code. It is also about taking care of the people who write it, ship it, and support it. 👍
A Recharge Day spent in nature is especially good for recovery. Leave the laptop closed. Walk in the woods, sit by the water, or just be offline outdoors for a few hours. Stepping away from screens and back into the real world is one of the simplest ways to come back clearer, calmer, and ready to contribute again!! 👊
Thank you, Red Hat, for still making space for that.

-Jorge P., LATAM Commercial Leader

"Running an individual marathon requires discipline. Running it as part of a team requires something different: knowing when to set the pace and when to trust your running partners to keep pace with you.
My first months as a Commercial Leader in Red Hat Latin America have been exactly that. Not a start from scratch, but the challenge of finding the rhythm with a team of exceptional professionals in a region as diverse as Latin America.
What made this transition smoother was discovering something I didn't expect: the company's philosophy was already mine long before I arrived. Open source is not just a software model; it is a mindset of collaboration, resilience, and continuous improvement that I apply in every discipline of my life.
At @RedHat, real value comes when we share the effort, break down silos, and move forward together with a clear goal: to drive real transformation for our customers across the region." -Jorge P., LATAM Commercial Leader #LifeAtRedHat
