Disappointing to hear JJ wants to leave the club. Very exciting talent and one you would expect to make it at the highest level providing injuries are kind to him and his development continues. That being said here’s a list of players that were touted to be “future world class”

Tonight, Croke Park makes history. For the first time ever, a club football match will be played at this extraordinary stadium, as United face Leeds in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 80,000. But anyone walking through the gates tonight should know something of the ground beneath their feet. On 21st November 1920, during Ireland's War of Independence, around 10,000 people gathered at Croke Park to watch Dublin play Tipperary in a Gaelic football match. Minutes after the game began, British Crown forces entered the ground. Then came an act of barbarism. They opened fire on players and spectators. People desperately tried to escape as bullets tore through the crowd. Some were shot. Others were crushed in the panic. Children were among the dead. In less than two minutes, 14 innocent people were killed and dozens more wounded. Tipperary footballer Michael Hogan was shot dead on the pitch. He was just 24 years old. The Hogan Stand carries his name to this day. Three children, Jerome O'Leary, William Robinson and John William Scott, aged just 10, 11 and 14, were also among those killed. It became known as Bloody Sunday, one of the darkest atrocities of the War of Independence. More than a century later, Croke Park remains far more than a sporting arena. It is a place woven into Irish history, identity and memory. And tonight another page is written. Two great rivals. More than 80,000 people. The first club football match ever staged at Croke Park. For those of us travelling to Jones' Road to watch United tonight, enjoy the occasion. But remember where you're standing. History lives in that ground. 🇮🇪

This is great news. While the hypocrisy of some things UEFA does cannot be dismissed - this is the right stand to make.
BREAKING: UEFA countries unanimously in support of boycotting World Cup in protest at FIFA's plan to sell stakes in tournament to private investors, say sources. Decision taken at emergency virtual meeting thetimes.com/sport/football/…

Many attempts have been made in recent years to bring together influential supporter groups that can prioritise the often underrepresented voice of Manchester United’s match going supporters. The recent actions of Manchester United have finally achieved what those efforts could not: a unanimous, historic and unprecedented unification of MUST, TRA, MUYSC, The 1958, all Fans’ Forum representatives, more than 100 Official Supporters’ Clubs, Red News and United We Stand. Earlier today, a message was sent to Manchester United emphasising full support for the Fans’ Forum’s recent letter relating to the premature suspension of Season Ticket Holders without required evidence. In summary, we have demanded that the Club: * Immediately halt the ongoing suspension process. * Immediately retract all unproven suspensions. * Confirm the current number of Season Tickets. * Explain its apparent policy of reducing the number of Season Tickets. * Confirm that all reclaimed Season Tickets are reissued as Season Tickets to supporters on the Season Ticket waiting list. Once an official written response has been received from Manchester United, it will be shared in the interests of transparency and fairness. The potential consequences of the Club’s response will be also shared as soon as they have been confirmed.

"We are committed to building a world-class stadium with our supporters, not just for them, with atmosphere, affordability and accessibility at the heart of our thinking." Collette Roche When Collette says "with our supporters", I'd genuinely like to know which supporters she's referring to. Everything I've fed back through fan surveys, and everyone I know who regularly attends matches, whether they've been going for a few years or a few decades, wants to stay where we are. Spend five minutes on social media, and you'll find plenty of others expressing the same view. If the club insists that the majority of supporters favour a new stadium, it should publish the data supporting that claim and break that data down appropriately. The club can separate responses from match-going supporters, season-ticket holders, executive members and regular members from those who may never have attended a game at Old Trafford. If the evidence genuinely shows overwhelming support for a new stadium, then I don't see any issue with being transparent and sharing the results. At the moment, we're simply being asked to accept the narrative. If the majority of supporters really are behind the project, then show us the proof. Transparency would only strengthen the club's position. It often feels as though the strongest voices pushing for a new stadium are those who rarely, if ever, attend games. Without data to prove otherwise, it appears the drive for a new stadium isn't coming from match-going supporters; it's coming from owners who still haven't properly explained how they'll fund it. Prove us wrong. No doubt a lucrative naming rights deal will contribute, but what about the rest? Personal Seat Licences? That's hardly a solution that improves affordability. Then there's the proposal for at least 25% of the stadium to be made up of hospitality seating. As per this post, match-day pricing of tickets is spiralling out of reach for many supporters (xitter.cf/OhCheesesChrist/status…) Let's be honest: we're not even going to sell out a 100,000-capacity stadium week in, week out, especially at current pricing levels. The club has already priced out many of the supporters it will need to fill those seats. I'm sure the business model has accounted for these scenarios, but I'd question the credibility of those projections when so many loyal supporters are already being pushed away from regular attendance simply due to affordability. There's little value in Supporter Groups approaching this from different angles. The decision on relocation and the new build is, in all likelihood, beyond the point of being reversed. What's important now is ensuring that, as Collette said, the club genuinely listens to all supporters, but also recognises the difference between those who attend regularly, those who attend occasionally, and those who never attend but still have strong opinions on what match-going fans should want. What we need now is a united approach from supporter groups: a coalition with a clear, consistent message. Rather than working against one another, they need to be organised and aligned, ensuring that before any key decisions are finalised, supporters have meaningful input and the club is compelled to listen, learn and implement in a way that keeps as many regular match-going supporters on board as possible. Risking that, loses so much of what Manchester United Football Club is about.
We're proud to announce a milestone moment in the plan to transform Old Trafford 👀🏟️

I don’t care if I’m being sentimental or whatever you call me but if you’re a United fan, you know what the academy means to this club and you genuinely want this bromance to end between two talents who have world class potential because of some PSR shit, he’s 20 years old, still raw or whatever you really need to check your hard drive. He came on today and single handedly changed the game with so much threat, being a pace setter and always look to create something. He’s shown so much willingness to adapt to this system and improve in the last three games. 14 goals and assists this season not too bad for someone who’s been bad. Long may this bromance continue and long may they excel at United. I will be supporting them along the way and so should you.

20 Years Ago Today: 33 year old Roy Keane put in a masterclass against Bolton. Keane being a brilliant passer hardly ever gets mentioned. The purpose and weight of his passing was magnificent.

Any post that starts with “per Muppetiers” 🚮 🚮 🚮 Guy is a fraud, baffling there are people still listening to that speculating, aggregating gobshite
Per @Muppetiers -Jamie Jackson story is true. -Ten hag under pressure because of the game model, not individual results. -Anyone trying to paint a narrative that ten hag is being forced to play certain players is “talking out of their ass”.
