The six people who were displaced lived in the first-floor apartment. The American Red Cross is assisting them.
Six people were displaced after a fire on Coykendall Avenue in Syracuse on Thursday morning. The Syracuse Fire Department responded to 106 Coykendall Ave. and found a two-story house but did not see smoke or fire immediately. However, upon further investigation, they found the fire on the house's exterior wall. Firefighters then opened the wall and found "significantly" more fire inside it. bit.ly/4B0QlPo
