No bottled water anywhere due to the pending Russian Invasion but Morrisons have started selling 6 packs of bottled Quilmes.

I’m one of the boring few who agree.
Can probably count on one hand I’ve had a £7 airport pint before a flight because I simply can’t wait to get there.
Just rather a coffee in the morning.
Every time I think of leaving X I see something random like this and extend my stay for a week or so 🤣🤣🤣

Etihad threatening to sue. UAE reportedly intimating that UK investment could be pulled. A Prime Minister couching any criticisism. If this sorry saga doesn't convince you that state ownership of football clubs should never be allowed, nothing ever will.

Agreed.
All conspiracy aside. A working class family from up north would have been slung in prison for this. They both just seem awful. Dead behind the eyes type.
Would you leave your expensive watch and wallet on the bed with the door unlocked? No. Why leave your kids then?
Was bored last night and started rewatching the Madeleine McCann doc on Netflix.
Forget all the conspiracy stuff, as a parent of 2 young children, the negligence the McCanns showed was ridiculous even for the time.
They left 2 year old twins and a 3 year old in an unlocked ground floor apartment. The apartment was accessible by a public street.
They periodically checked in, but that didn’t always involve actually seeing the children. Just making sure no one was crying etc.
The night before it happened, Maddie asked her parents why they didn’t come when she was crying.
Obviously no one expects their child to be abducted, but they couldn’t have made it much easier for someone to snatch her.
They prioritised themselves and their own convenience over their children’s safety. Can blame police and everyone all they want but if that was me I would be blaming myself.
Am I being too harsh?
