Hi Tassja, Sadly, YJS's aren't covered by the period products scheme funded by the government We no longer take donations as our work mainly focused on schools and colleges - so sadly we're unable to help too Sorry not to be of more help for the people at Bradford YJS

You can also write to your MP about the issue. @irise_int have put together a template which you can find at the link here 👇 irise.org.uk/everyperiodcoun…
We have seen the news over the last few days that young people are still struggling to access period products in schools and colleges. This is such disheartening news and naturally we will do all that we can to improve matters. bbc.co.uk/news/education-656…

This is fantastic to see! Normalising periods in assemblies helps tackle the stigma around menstruation and helps people seek period products when they need them! Thank you Chorlton High School!
This morning, Y9 girls were given free sanitary products to take away- pads, tampons and period proof knickers ❤️ At CHS, we provide free sanitary products for all girls and we will be visiting assemblies to inform students of the support available 🥰 #community #support #love

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this time. Rest in peace, ma'am.

Thanks for the reply, Maya. Clearly, we have differing views when it comes to period poverty. There is evidence available of period poverty affecting young people and their education from Plan Int'l UK We support policies to end poverty, including period poverty, wholeheartedly

Thank you for sharing your experience, Arlo. We completely understand that's its not as simple as just getting the first product available - owing to things like allergies, as you mentioned. Sadly, Maya had a very simplistic outlook. Hopefully, she's more aware now ✊🩸

We hear you, Duncan. We did see Maya decided to go on to be transphobic in the thread 😔 Red Box Project stands to be inclusive and champions access to period products for everyone who menstruates

Thank you! We will keep raising awareness and education around periods and period poverty ✊🩸 We no longer take donations as schools have a gov funded scheme now. However, we'd love for you to support your local community with products through a local food bank or other org ❤️
