It’s 330am on July 5th, 1985, 18th inning of a game between the Mets/Braves. The Braves are down 11-10 and down to their last hitter. They send reliever Rick Camp, who had a batting average of .062.
Beautiful call by legendary broadcaster, John Sterling.

I can tell you first hand the chaos at @TSA is beginning to set in at airports. How anyone thought it would be a good idea to jeopardize travel & air safety with a shut down is beyond me. Not to mention inconvenience and delays. And having Pre Check or Clear only helps to a point because you still have to go through the scanners. I appreciate the agents who are now working with no pay, but this is dumb beyond words and a disaster waiting to happen. Be warned if heading to the airport. Delays are substantial. Hope this current insanity ends soon.
Hey @FlipsideVinyl ! You have any Aldo Nova in your collection? I’m a huge fan of his second record.
Holly Knight is amazing. I love hearing her version of her hit Love is a Battlefield. Really all of her work is great; Spider in particular. @HollyKnightlife

Dear @AmericanAir, despite a 2 hour maintenance delay on Flight 3035, Donn in the Concourse D Admirals Club delivered outstanding service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful while we navigated the delay. Service still matters.
