Thank you to @RecFriendsof for having us come along to the official opening of Jubilee Meadows. What a wonderful and appropriate way to end Go Green Week and the half term for Twickenham School!

Incentivised walking and active travel infrastructure is needed - boroughs in London have shown this can work
NB the @MayorofLondon has (as of Jan 2022) a target of 27% reduction in traffic volumes in London (from 2018 base) by 2030. Vital to deliver this as it will have huge benefits for London #VisionZero goals (no deaths or serious injuries on London's roads by 2041) too.
Impacts health too
Sitting in traffic does not benefit anyone - or the economy!🏎️🛵🚗🏍️ It has never been more vital that we stand up for #ActiveTravel. We need to tell the new Government why walking matters. ⬇️Tell your MP today ⬇️ e-activist.com/page/114650/a…

💰🩺Do you know how high the health costs of air pollution are? 📉 Better walking environments and investment in #ActiveTravel can help reduce air pollution and these costs. Ask your MP to stand up for walking ➡️ e-activist.com/page/114650/a…
Stay and Get Healthy, and save money. Our local infrastructure is perfect for walking
