Way to go Jessey!!!
Congrats!! @JesseyRice for a successful online PhD defense. The 'wool' (😉 @ChrisClarkofBC )... sorry, the whole thing went smoothly; including amazing closed captioning for one committee member (I'm impressed @MicrosoftTeams !)
Virtual grad writing cafe from @UWaterlooWCC underway for all grads! Will I see my fellow @GSA_UWaterloo peeps on here next week? I better get back to writing and not tweeting! #gradlife

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the GSA will be temporarily closing the Graduate House in an effort to curb the spread of the virus and to maintain the health of our guests and staff. We are monitoring the situation, and hope to open soon. @GSA_UWaterloo
Wow, @CafePyrusKW is offering FREE delivery. All delivery orders over $25 will include a $5 Gift Card to be used in store, all in an effort to keep their employees working. Their kale slaw is fantastic! Reduced in-store seating, so watch out!
Both Yara and Isabel gave brilliant speeches at today's @WaterlooSci #UWaterloo3MT faculty heat! It was a large turnout--the biggest I've seen for a faculty heat audience. Science has a very strong competitor going into the UW competition on March 26: don't miss it!

Science faculty heat 3MT is this Tuesday, March 3 from 2-4 in STC 0060. Let's show our support to the 20 courageous participants communicating their cutting-edge research!
Met up with some fellow @GSA_UWaterloo Directors and CEO to chat about governance over lunch. We picked up our monthly @UWGraduateHouse coupon and used it on the special of the day. With chicken, we paid just $3 for a fresh, delicious, and filling meal! Use your Jan coupon soon!
Productive board meeting with fellow @GSA_UWaterloo directors today, and we added two new directors, too! It is a priviledge to work with a team of dedicated, committed individuals :) Keep an eye out for news on how to get involved in the 2020-2021 board!
