Title: Everything Muslims Say About the Bible Can Be Said About the Quran Too! Muslims love to tell Christians: “Your Bible is all messed up! It’s corrupted, not preserved, has lost books, Jesus didn’t even write it, it was written after His death, there are contradictions, and oh… so many versions!” 🥱 Surprise, surprise, all these same complaints can actually be said about the Quran too! Every bullet they shoot at the Bible bounces off and lands right on their own book. Let’s explore! 😎 1. “The Bible is corrupted!” Muslims say: “The Bible has been changed! Humans touched it!” Well… yes, humans handled it. They also handled the Quran. No angel came down and printed a leather-bound Arabic Quran from heaven with golden edges. Muhammad did not write the Quran. His followers wrote verses on palm leaves, stones, bones, leather, and whatever was available. Some verses were written by certain companions, others by different companions. When Muhammad died, many memorisers died in battles people panicked that parts of the Quran would be lost. So Abu Bakr told Zayd ibn Thabit to gather everything together. Later, Uthman burned other versions and produced one standard copy. Let me repeat: They burned the other versions. If Christians had done that, Muslims would scream:😱 “Evidence of corruption!” “They burnt their manuscripts to cover up contradictions” But when they did it, it became: “Preservation, masha’Allah.” So if “humans handled the Scripture = corruption”… the Quran should be the number one suspect. 2. “There are lost books in the Bible!” Yes, Christians did not include every ancient religious text into the Bible, because not every ancient text was inspired. But Muslims also have lost scriptures: The “Scrolls of Abraham” (Suhuf Ibrahim) GONE. The “Scrolls of Moses” GONE. Some Quran verses are said to have been eaten by a goat after Muhammad died (Hadith Sunan Ibn Majah 1944). Some companions claimed certain surahs or verses existed that are not in today’s Quran. Muslims say, “You Christians have missing books!” Meanwhile, Islam literally teaches that entire revelations “disappeared,” and they don’t even know what was in them. So if lost texts = corruption, then Islam should calm down and look in the mirror. 3. “Jesus didn’t write the Bible.” JESUS! this one is funny. Muslims act like Jesus was supposed to sit down, open a laptop go to X, and type: “The Gospel according to Me.” 🤣🤣 Jesus didn’t write the Gospels because: He is the WORD He had disciples who wrote His teachings. His ministry was only 3½ years. His mission was preaching, healing, saving, not book publishing. Guess what Jesus disciples didn’t die in battles..The true God preserved them. But wait… did Muhammad write the Quran? No. Not a single page. Not a single letter. Not even “Bismillah.” He only recited. Others wrote it. Some wrote correctly, some forgot, some disagreed, some died, some argued, some fought. If Christians must reject the Bible because Jesus didn’t write it, Muslims should throw away the Quran immediately because Muhammad definitely didn’t write it either. 4. “The Bible was written after Jesus’ death!” Yes, the Gospels were written decades after Jesus returned to heaven by eyewitnesses or people who interviewed eyewitnesses. Now let’s talk about the Quran: Muhammad died in 632 AD. The first full written compilation happened after his death. The final standardized copy (the “Uthmanic Quran”) was made many years later. Other versions existed and were burned. Even then, several recitations (qira’a) continued to exist. So if “written after the prophet’s death = unreliable,” then Islam is in very big trouble, because the Quran wasn’t collected into a book during Muhammad’s lifetime. 5. “There are too many Bible versions” Muslims love this argument.
