...and their CEO would make $650K a YEAR, and pay lobbyists $400K.
He exposes it: "We found organizations that were receiving grants from Interior, where 80 to 100 percent of the revenue of that NGO was a grant from the federal government."

🚨 15-year-old stood over a 9-year-old girl on a Homestead school bus and rained punches on her head while she tried to cover up.
Her 10-year-old brother got beaten trying to protect her.
Mom had already WARNED Coconut Palm K-8 about the bullying. School shrugged.
Principal even told her they were “overwhelmed” and she should pull her kids.
School cop’s first move? A civil citation. A slap on the wrist for beating a third-grader.
Public outrage exploded. Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle overrode it: the citation was “incompatible with the level of violence.” Criminal battery charges followed.
Soft policies almost let a violent bully walk. Only cameras and furious parents forced real charges.
This is why parents don’t trust the system.

23,000 plastic bottles & 825 bags of trash removed from Pittsburgh's Ohio River in the past 4+ years.
Generally in life you get what you pay for. This river is evidence of a serious lack of investment. Until our government prioritizes & attacks our littering epidemic, this will never change.
My recommendations...
Step 1: Install trash barriers/OceanCleanup style interceptors in this river to catch & corral some of the the mess & mitigate the disaster.
Step 2: Implement a sustained Anti-Litter advertising campaign thru various channels(social media, TV, billboards, etc) to change minds & habits.

Day 15 of @CarnegieMellon tacitly endorsing racism by refusing to hold its employee accountable for wishing death on a white man.
Families of prospective students should think twice before sending their kids off to a university that repeatedly ignores the vile, racist rantings of one of its professors.
Prospective donors should do the same.

Police say 32-year-old Elijah Hemingway got into the home through an open rear window, walked up to the third-floor bedroom, and started st*bbing the couple with a kitchen knife while they slept.
Wearing only his underwear. Talking about "being God," according to the criminal complaint.
Dr. Evans and his wife woke up under attack and fought back as best they could.
His wife screamed for their children, 8 and 12 years old, to get out of the house and run to a neighbor's.
They did.
Dr. Evans was pronounced de*d at the hospital.
His wife is in critical condition.
Police found Hemingway behind a nearby house with cuts on his hands.
He is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, burglary and criminal trespass.
Back in February, court records show a woman came home from dropping her child at daycare and checked her Nest camera... and watched Hemingway, her former partner, FORCE HIS WAY into her home and steal her laptop and two iPhones.
He was arrested in July.
Two felonies. Burglary. Theft by unlawful taking.
And what did Allegheny County do with a man charged with breaking into a woman's home?
Released him THE NEXT DAY.
Nonmonetary bond.
$0.
His court date for that burglary was October 1st.
He never made it there. Instead, prosecutors say, he found another window and m*rdered this young doctor.
Say his name. Dr. Idris Evans.
Please pray for his wife and their two kids.

Earlier this week, 32-year-old Elijah Hemingway broke into Dr. Idris Evans’ home and stabbed him and his wife in their bed, maiming her and killing him.

THIS is the part that should make people furious.
Dr. Idris Evans dedicated his career to saving critically ill children.
Now he is dead, his wife is critically injured, and their two children have been left traumatized after an attack inside the place they should have been safest—their own home.
Police arrested 32-year-old Elijah Hemingway and charged him with criminal homicide, attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and other offenses.
But here’s the part I cannot get past:
Hemingway was reportedly already OUT on non-monetary bail in an unrelated burglary case.
How many times are families supposed to pay the price when someone accused of a crime is released back onto the streets?
Gina Evans was stabbed and STILL managed to get her 8- and 12-year-old children out of that house alive.
Those children escaped physically unharmed—but they lost their father and watched their mother fight for her life.
Dr. Evans spent his life trying to save other people's children.
Who was protecting his?
Pray for Gina and those babies. 🙏🏻💔

Police say they also stole GOODWILL DONATIONS FROM THE BACK OF HIS CAR after they repeatedly punched him, stole from his wallet, and then repeatedly STOMPED ON HIS HEAD.
The elderly man, Lance Jefferies, is currently recovering in the hospital.
According to family members, Lance's eyes are swollen shut. He has neck injuries, his jaw is swollen. He has blood clots in his leg and also in his stomach where he was kicked. So now he has to stay in the hospital so he can get surgery, and he’s in a lot of pain.”
Lance is described as "quiet man who rarely goes out much" and stays at home with his wife most of the time.
