I swear people defending Lanterns have no ability to think beyond their immediate future. The story choices in Lanterns have automatically now made it impossible to do dozens of stories from decades of Green Lantern's lore because you made the characters old and/or dead. You're like children happy that you got candy not realizing that you can never get into the candy store again.
Kids want to watch what their older brother is watching, not kidslop that is obviously trying to pander to them whilst treating them as if they're braindead.
