Working on what will probably wind up as a zine submission and I realized my translation guide will need its own translation guide... Have I dug too deep into the nerd mines?

Red Rising is a topic of discussion right now, so I'm going to discuss it. As with favorite Legionnaires, I think your favorite Howler says a lot about you. If you've read it, and you're here, you can probably peg mine. I tend to gravitate heavily towards certain archetypes.

My feed is already too full of Darrow hype less than 6 hours in. He's cool and all, but... Where's the Sevro hype? Where's the Victra hype? More importantly, where is the Romulus or the Diomedes hype??? smh...may all my favorite things stay niche

Hey Red Rising Twitter 👋 If you need something else to read before these books become a movie/TV show, you would all enjoy my other special interest: Legion of Super-Heroes. Go read. leagueofcomicgeeks.com/profi…

Preboot legion reading order by Dtscos

Highly recommend using the legion archives up until superboy 333 (there are also fanmade archives covering the rest of this if you know where to find them). Karate kid and wanderers not included as...

Cosmic worldbuilding, teenagers facing death together and finding comradeship/brotherhood, heartwrenching moments, hype, dynamic female characters, villains with aura, and eventual adults dealing with messy galactic politics. Tldr: It's got a lot of the same selling points.
