Seeing some tweets about Yengi against Brazil so here's my thoughts. I think he is in the squad for his hold-up play and brining in our wingers. Offers a different profile to Toure, so will be handy for tactical flexibility going forward.

Realistically, what other options for striker did Popa have? Goodwin isn't setting MLS on fire, Jova can't get on the pitch, Dundee fans frustrated with Sapsford, Botic still injured. Next window might be a different story.

Would be a great pick up for Adelaide... but no.
💙🎙️ | Patrick Kisnorbo on James Overy (via @JamesDodd89): 🗣️ "It (a loan move to Sydney) has been mentioned. "I can't give too much away. "There are spots in our team, and it’s only for people that will improve it."

As a Port Adelaide local, would love to see something like this replace the old Fisherman's Wharf market. The area desperately needs something to bring the people in and activate the waterfront again.
Sydney's new fish market has officially opened, welcoming an incredible 40,000 visitors on its first day. Designed by 3XN, the market is located in the city’s Blackwattle Bay. Beneath its distinctive wave-like timber roof — the largest timber roof in the Southern Hemisphere — the four-storey complex contains specialty food retailers, restaurants, cafes, and new public space. The existing Sydney Fish Market had long been a staple among Sydneysiders, Australians and visitors – but 3XN hopes the new structure will “elevate the market as a top tourist destination”. The building and its surrounding development is projected to more than double the number of visitors to the area over the next ten years. On its website, Sydney Fish Market describes the project as “the most significant harbourside building since the Opera House.” 📷 3XN/GXN

Not to take away from the Mariners’ performance but Andrioli got his squad selection all wrong tonight. #ADLvCCM

I like Harry Crawford but a RB he is not. Should’ve been Panashe from the jump. And then to go to a back three at the half and bring on Tatu makes no sense either. Does Di Pizio have all that space for the fourth if Panashe comes on instead?

Ayoubi is clearly not a striker but Jake Nadjovski, the only other 9 in the team, can’t make a match day squad. Luka is away for a month, at least give him a run off the bench.

In America, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.
First of all, it's just a made up quote. Completely dishonest. Second, what's reasonable is to want to share a language with your neighbor. How do you borrow a cup of sugar? Resolve disagreements? Have a nice conversation? You need a common language, and in America, that language is English. The far left became so deranged on immigration that they're attacking people for wanting to be able to speak to their neighbors.

It just boggles my mind that people who are literally descended from immigrants are protesting immigration in Melbourne today. Unless you’re an indigenous Australian you came from somewhere else.

What a marvellous day to remind ourselves of the gifts of Australia, that’s provided a home to us all over several centuries, along with the world’s oldest living culture. An extraordinary place where we come together from more than 300 different cultural backgrounds, all equal, all equally Australian. Sport demonstrates this best, where our diversity, and our history, is on display every day, every week, every triumph. The Socceroos announced an exciting young squad to play NZ this Friday, led by a former international teammate of mine of Croatian-Australian ancestry, and just take a glance at the surnames. Or those of our greatest legends, Captains, or community clubs. Overnight, we revelled in another unbelievable freekick for Watford by an immensely exciting young Australian and Socceroo, of Tanzanian ancestry. How proud the Australian football community are to see young stars rise. With every goal, every win, every World Cup qualification, with the rise of the Matildas whose parents and grandparents span the globe, our chests swell with pride. What a country. Love it. Ancient, diverse, and every one of us, Aussie.

This from the bloke who just two days ago said Zohran Mamdani ‘looks terrible’.
Trump: "I will never say good looking waitress, because looks don't matter anymore in our modern society. She happened to be beautiful but I won't say that."
