Going to also say this. Google still allows 2006 pre-Google YouTube accounts to be migrated. And those accounts are free. There's no reason you all should not allow the same for Minecraft accounts. youtube.com/gaia_link @Mojang @Minecraft @MojangSupport

(2/2) Turns out, yes. Even though my account is just over 3 years old, Microsoft has disabled/deleted it forever. Yes, obviously I should've migrated. But that wasn't the point of this 3+ year experiment. If you paid for something, you should have the ability to keep it. Period.
