When my aunt passed, She and her husband were love birds so it was hard convincing him not to bury her in the house. They were young lovers that suffered and grew together from university days.
He almost ran mad cos everyday he will go and sit there and be talking to himself assuming he’s talking to her. Some days, he will be dressed for work and unconsciously branched her grave and that’s it.
Long story short, he was taken away from the house before he eventually relocated out of the country with the kids. And one she-g0@+ said it should be comforting seeing the grave of someone you grew together but didn’t live long enough with you.
May God rebuke all of you.

The 110 km Circular Road project is being constructed by the H.E. Seyi Makinde-led Oyo State Government. The Federal Government needs to stop claiming the project as one of its own achievements. The project is not "state-led" as stated in today's Punch Newspaper; it is 100% being executed by the OYSG.
This penchant for stealing OYSG projects needs to stop! The other day, Minister Nyesom Wike LIED that the FG gave Oyo State N50B for the Ibadan Airport upgrade project. The Ibadan Airport upgrade is another project being executed 100% by the OYSG, which the FG, through its agents, including HoR member Akin Alabi, has been trying to claim credit for.

In May 2001, President Obasanjo was scheduled to make a 3-day working trip to Japan.
He drove to the airport, where it is reported that he waited for roughly three hours.
Why? His Vice-President Atiku was airborne and unable to land because of bad weather. Obasanjo waited until his VP touched down, before he boarded his own flight to Japan.
This was in keeping with Nigerian state protocol and national security convention, that the President and Vice President should never be out of the country at the same time.
Seems like a different era, doesn’t it?

I’ve seen several reactions to my comments on Dr Hamzat and his oath of allegiance to the United States.
My final point on this is that while it may be non justiciable given amendments to the electoral act, I want every voter to read what he swore to while denouncing his country, Nigeria, and Lagos.
Dr Hamzat not only swore to defend the constitution and interests of a foreign government. He also swore that he will take up arms to defend that country even against Nigeria.
It is therefore unconscionable that such an individual now seeks to lead Our Lagos.
That he denounced his motherland, and now submits to a godfather is the kind of moral failure that every proud Lagosian and Nigerian should find repulsive.

GEJ's budget was in Naira. $93 was N13, 950.
Tinubu's budget is in Naira. $83 is N116,200.
GEJ still delivered higher nominal GDP gains.
No let anybody whyne you.
The only president as terrible as Tinubu in Nigeria's history is his evil twin, Buhari.
We all have AI, we can simply type in queries and fact-check.
1. Average Crude oil prices from 2010 to 2015 under GEJ were $93.83. today its $75 to $88. Deliberately overstated revenues
2. Since President Bola Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023, Nigeria has generated over $95 billion from crude oil exports. Deliberately understated revenues
3. GEJ poverty rate in 2015: 33.1%, Today its 63%. Even with recalibration, 40 v 63,
4. GEJ food inflation: 9.78%; today its 20.31% and rising. Deliberately ignored food inflation
5. GEJ total public debt: $63.7b; today it's $114b. GEJ didn't print via Ways and Means. Tinubu has; still, borrowing has ballooned, debt swaps, etc.
I restate: the HIGHEST annual GDP growth achieved by BAT is not up to the LOWEST GDP growth achieved by GEJ.
I would compare GDP per capita, but that would be mean of me.
Final word: GEJ paid subsidies and still kept inflation, exchange rates, and poverty rates low. Tinubu took away subsidies; inflation and poverty have ballooned.

As this video shows, the cost of living for Nigerians has increased by 400%+ since subsidy removal. We've recently seen the utter break down of infrastructure across the country. There are record levels of insecurity. Record levels of a lack of access to education and health care.
You Tinubu advocates need to tell Nigerians how exactly subsidy removal by the Tinubu admin has benefited the average Nigerian.
Tell us in Naira and Kobo terms. No highfalutin language

Voltrons will not save Nigeria, but the choice to be silent when you have a voice, is a choice to be aligned with evil. Davido’s involvement in the Osun election is anything but altruistic, BUT it does prove the point: Nigerian celebrities have major voices..🤔

SENATOR FRANCIS FADAHUNSI’S INCENDIARY RHETORIC AHEAD OF THE OSUN ELECTION
I wish to express my deep regret, and profound concern regarding the recent inflammatory comments and threat-laden rhetoric attributed to Senator Francis Fadahunsi in the lead-up to the Osun State election on Saturday.
As a high-ranking lawmaker representing the people in the National Assembly, Senator Fadahunsi carries a solemn constitutional and moral responsibility to promote peace, uphold democratic norms, and foster unity. It is therefore alarming and unacceptable that a distinguished senator would deploy intimidation, incendiary remarks, or political threats capable of heightening tensions, instilling fear in voters, and potentially inciting electoral violence in Osun State.
Elections are meant to be a celebration of democratic franchise - a peaceful exercise through which citizens freely choose their leaders without intimidation, harassment, or coercion. Resorting to threats of force or disruption undermines the integrity of our electoral process, disrespects the electorate, and threatens the fragile peace of the state.
I therefore respectfully demand that Senator Fadahunsi retract these harmful statements and tender an apology to the peaceful people of Osun State.
All political leaders, stakeholders, and party loyalists across party lines must exercise the utmost restraint, moderate their language, and recommit themselves to peace and democratic decorum.
The relevant security agencies must closely monitor inflammatory statements and ensure equal protection for all citizens, election officials, and voters before, during, and after the polls.
The democratic mandate belongs to the people, and no individual, regardless of status or political office, should attempt to subvert the will of the people through fear or coercion.
I urge the good people of Osun State to remain calm, peaceful, and resolute as they exercise their constitutional civic duty at the polls.
Getting elections right is a necessary step towards a New Nigeria that is POssible. -PO

BBC not only promoting Islamic morality police here, but ignoring the real news of this mass wedding that is causing an uproar in Nigeria 🇳🇬, where a top Sheikh called Christians “infidels,” promoted Muslim dominance over Christians & the governor of Kano laughed.
Disgraceful.
Celebrations turned Nigerian city of Kano into a riot of colour over the last week as 1,500 couples married at a mass wedding. The Kano state government sponsored this initiative, spending 1.5bn naira ($1m; £815,000) to support those tying the knot. bbc.in/4xt4Icy

Only 3 Governors in Nigeria today aren’t currently aligned with the APC. He has over 33 Governors on his side yet Tinubu won’t allow any of these 3 Governors rest. Bauchi commissioners are being detained and harassed, Seyi Makinde has Fayose unleashed on him, and now Adeleke can’t access state funds to run his state.
We are now in the Tinubu’s Kingdom of Nigeria.
