TrAsh Wednesday - SW19's ARMY

Put jokes about the first day of Lent being like our game yesterday here. Come to think of it, if you'd found that game and played it for the whole of the tie at Hillsborough, from first whistle to...

Desperate Danum - SW19's ARMY

Two wins in a row? Ambassador, you are spoiling us... I think if we all had a choice, and we could have selected which match this week we could have won, we'd all have picked Thursday instead. But...

Bromcom - SW19's ARMY

Now that's a bit more like it. This isn't going to be a proper SW19 report on us beating Bromley tonight - as you can see, I chickened out going across south London this evening. Not to mention...

You know, I could get used to Sunday football... I don't know if it was the sheer emotion of managing to witness WG Hales 1 JJB Sports 0, or whether I'm just out of practice watching football games...

Chicken Royal - SW19's ARMY

Suddenly, I feel a bit hungry... Quick note before I go on - your editor had his dosage of allopurinol boosted (doubled) this week, so it's left me feeling a bit drowsy at times. This will partly...

Dickhudds - SW19's ARMY

Ah, the start of the new season. Optimism abounds, a freshness over the whole country as teams start off for the first (and only) time equal with each other. An exciting voyage into the unknown, a...

Pint of Carabao - SW19's ARMY

Something I imagine would have the same effect as not winning yesterday. Well, it was absolute whale wank for a lot of it, and penalty shootouts are not fun when it's your own team. But I'll take...

Enjoy the Silence - SW19's ARMY

Hmm, an SW19 update from the blue? How odd... Actually, it isn't. I'm away until the 15th June now, and updates will be rarer than an Aaron Sasu goal in the league. This might be a good time to take...
