A San Jose pastor hands out FREE groceries to over 1,000 people a week. The city just told him: shut it down in 60 days or pay up to $20,000 PER DAY.
PASTOR RALPH OLMOS: “Do I stand with the people? Do I stop? And do I stop doing the thing that it seems like God has put me here for?”
What's the violation? The block is zoned residential, and the line of people waiting for food spills onto the sidewalk. The city says the pantry needs a special use permit. Price tag: up to $15,500.
Pastor Ralph turned an old liquor store, with two meth labs next door, into a free grocery line. And people on the sidewalk is what the city has a problem with.

A Brooklyn judge told a defendant the Second Amendment doesn’t exist in her courtroom, then gave him 10 years.
Dexter Taylor had no record and no victim. After NYPD tracked gun parts to his Bushwick apartment, they raided it on April 6, 2022 and took 13 firearms he’d built, plus a 3D printer.
Two months later, Bruen struck down New York’s handgun permit law. When Taylor went to trial in 2024, Judge Abena Darkeh barred that defense: “don’t bring the Second Amendment in here, this is New York.”
On May 13, she sentenced him to 10 years. Parole doesn’t start until 2032.

Asked whether he could guarantee BC’s projected deficit would stay below $14 billion, BC NDP Leader David Eby says his party would release a full breakdown of its election promises and how they would be funded, but did not directly commit to the $14-billion ceiling:
“Every commitment we're making in this campaign is fully costed.”

David Eby keeps announcing things that are "absolutely critical" but can't answer the question of "if this is so critical why did you spend $90 million on an opportunistic election" instead of using your majority to just do it.
The fact is that all of the things he has announced could have been done instead of calling an election.
He doesn't care about you.
