What are Erik Prince and the Israelis doing in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?
Prince’s Vectus Global entered Congo primarily through a government contract concerned with mining revenues, smuggling and state capacity. That mandate has since moved much closer to the battlefield. Reuters reports that Vectus personnel have provided drone and operational support to Congolese forces fighting the Rwanda-backed M23 movement in eastern Congo. In September, a Prince-linked team was ambushed in South Kivu; Tim Kennedy was wounded, while Congolese personnel and a former New Zealand special-operations soldier were reportedly among the casualties.
Israel occupies a different, though increasingly important, position. Israeli advisers have trained Congolese special-forces units, while Kinshasa has sought deeper cooperation with Israel in defense, security, advanced technology and infrastructure. President Félix Tshisekedi traveled to Jerusalem in September for meetings with Benjamin Netanyahu and Isaac Herzog specifically addressing those sectors.
The result is an unusual mise en scène: Congolese troops, private American contractors and Israeli military expertise operating within a conflict shaped heavily by Rwanda and M23, while the country’s immense copper and cobalt reserves draw strategic attention from Washington, Beijing and other foreign powers.
Prince is also expanding into privatized air defense through Vectus Air Defense Systems. Whether Congo eventually becomes a market, operational laboratory, or neither remains unproven; there is currently no public evidence establishing that the new company itself is deployed there.
Congo is therefore becoming a useful case study in how contemporary warfare, private military enterprise, foreign security assistance and competition over strategic resources increasingly occupy the same terrain.

Palmer Luckey reveals the startup he'd build today: oxytocin doping to end divorce
"I would try to end the tragedy of divorce with oxytocin doping for marriage counseling."
"We understand mammal pair bonding pretty well. There's a lot of people who want to stay together. Most of the people who don't want to stay together should stay together, especially for their kids."
"And we can, if people think SSRIs are fine, which they're not, but if they were, then oxytocin doping to stay together is definitely fine."
"It's the mammal pair bonding chemical. There's things you can do to increase the uptake, and it's very well understood. Also, totally unregulated, which is great. Unregulated spaces are a lot easier to do. You can go buy a kilogram of oxytocin on Sigma Aldrich Chemical Supply right now, and if you do that, maybe you won't die alone."
"It's pure biology. It's used for women who don't bond with their kids, and now for women who don't bond with their husbands. It's also used for kids with various neurological issues, some kids with autism who struggle with pair bonding."
"The cool thing is it's a self-reinforcing loop. We understand that very well. Unlike most drugs, it doesn't form a chemical dependency. It actually unburdens you from a chemical dependency."

Musk took to X to proclaim Delta's CEO "will lose his job over this," escalating a public feud over the best in-flight Internet service.
The feud dates to March, when Delta chose to use Amazon's Internet satellite network instead of Musk's Starlink. Amazon had just 300 satellites in space at the time, compared with more than 10,000 for Starlink.
In late 2025, a company that measures Internet speeds called Ookla tested in-flight Wi-Fi systems and found just 2.2% of Delta's connections were fast enough to stream high-definition video. United, which is in the middle of switching its planes to Starlink, had a far higher rate of 63.7%, and Starlink wasn't used by any airline with a rate below 50%. The gap in performance is largely due to altitude, Ookla said. Starlink's satellites orbit about 50 times higher than a plane flies, while the older satellite technology that Delta uses is more than 3,000 times higher. Even the slowest 10% of Ookla's tests on Starlink were faster than the average customer on any rival satellite system experienced, the data showed.
Part of the reason United was able to switch to the new system so quickly is that the equipment is lightweight (85 pounds, compared with as much as 300 pounds for the old system) and so a plane only needs to be taken out of service for four days, instead of ten, to be equipped. Delta won't start installing the first Amazon systems until 2028, on an initial 500 planes, and it's using an antenna nobody has tested on an airliner. The deal with Amazon is "a much lower price point than what we've ever seen from Starlink," Delta CEO Ed Bastian told Bloomberg. Neither company has disclosed prices.
In late September, an X account that covers the airline industry posted comments it said Bastian made at a company meeting. "We do not want to be with Elon Musk. Trust me," it quoted him as saying. The account said it wasn't able to verify the quotes, and Delta hasn't commented on them. First Musk said Bastian would be fired, and then he tweeted that the best way to sandbox an AI is "to put it on a Delta flight", a post that has had 8 million views.
Then on Thursday, United offered Delta's highest-tier customers the chance to get matching status at United, with the tagline "Don't keep buffering." Mike Lee, a senator from Utah who says he is a loyal Delta customer, also got in on the act, saying the airline's Wi-Fi "works sporadically at best and often not at all." The status offer at United is good until January 2028, the year Delta expects its first Amazon planes to start flying.

Zelensky is flipping out over the diesel deal that Trump made with Putin today and promising to blow up even more Russian refineries.
There is a clear consensus among top energy economist that the NATO/Ukraine destruction of the Russian energy sector has a 3X worse effect on Europe than it does on Russia.
This development is an extremely good sign for world peace.
As Mario Nafla said today “the U.S.-Ukraine honeymoon is officially over”💀😂

Trump thanked Russian president Vladimir Putin for striking a deal to send millions of tons of diesel to the U.S.
"You heard about the oil deal with Russia. That is a big deal. That is massive amounts of oil coming into our country.
I want to THANK President Putin!"
Trump’s action goes against NATO and Zelenskyy’s attempts to shut down Russian energy production.
This is the clearest sign yet that 47 is actually trying to end the war and is good news for humanity..
