Watch out for Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson's migrant money sleight of hand this week. Chicago's City Council will have a special session Wednesday to vote on Johnson's proposed $300M property tax plan: Read MIGRANT TAX PLAN. This tax vote comes at a time when many Chicagoans are struggling financially. Johnson is throwing out other tax alternatives including a $150M property tax on Chicago residents with a 35% tax hike on alcohol and a 50% tax hike on streaming apps like Netfix. I've told him POINT BLANK that Chicagoans feel that he has sold them into "financial slavery" to accommodate the migrants. He has shrugged this off.
