James Lindsay denies the existence of the God he knows exists. It’s why he supports abortion and pornography, and the reason he can’t justify why communism is evil. Christians who team up with him against fellow Christians are just as deceived as those who embraced Big Eva’s woke agenda.

Call me old-fashioned, but I still believe we can defeat communism without linking arms with a pro-abortion, God-hating “anti-communist.”

Claiming to be an anti-communist while identifying as an atheist or agnostic is a contradiction. Marxist communism is built on a materialist rejection of God and transcendent order. Marx explicitly noted that communism “begins from the outset with atheism,” called religion “the opium of the people,” and treated belief in God as an illusion produced by economic conditions that would disappear under communism. Even though Marx stated that atheism alone is “far from” being communism, that concession does not solve the underlying issue: the decisive move remains the prior clearing of all transcendent authority. Without an absolute, transcendent law-giver, there is no non-arbitrary foundation for declaring communism wrong in principle. Material conditions, human preference, or historical outcomes can only produce contingent, subjective judgments; they cannot supply an objective standard that communism violates. Leninist regimes simply took this materialist premise to its logical conclusion through state atheism. An anti-communist who remains an atheist or agnostic must explain what objective standard independent of human consensus or material conditions grounds their condemnation of communism. Neither supplies any.

Calling yourself an “anti-communist” while holding an agnostic or atheist worldview is a total contradiction. That godless baseline is the exact pillow where communism rests its head.

The agnostic/atheist worldview is fueling the communist fire currently burning down our country.
