This is absolutely infuriating! Cancer, Parkinson’s, ruined careers, years of pain and suffering. And these are the offers the government put in front of them??? All with Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward’s name on them.
Our brave veterans who were poisoned at Camp Lejeune deserve justice, and the officials responsible for dragging this out need to be held accountable.
🚨 THREAD: 🚨
There is a terrible act of injustice happening in our country right now impacting US veterans and their family members, and it’s something I’ve been reporting on for a while.
For several decades, victims of the Camp LeJeune water contamination crisis have been denied the compensation they deserve, despite suffering from cancers, neurological disorders, and other devastating illnesses caused by toxic exposure.
From 1953 to 1987, over a million veterans, their families, and civilians were exposed to highly toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like TCE, PCE, vinyl chloride, and benzene in the base’s groundwater, with contamination levels far exceeding safe limits. Despite clear evidence of harm, federal officials concealed the issue, delaying action until 1987 and leaving victims without recourse for years.
The Camp LeJeune compensation crisis stands as one of the most egregious examples of government failure to address toxic exposure and deliver justice to military families.
I have obtained documentation of 5 offers of judgment from the Department of Justice to people who served or worked at Camp LeJeune Marine Corps Base who later developed terrible diseases like cancer or Parkinson’s.
And they’re far from the only ones. Thousands of people who lived or served on that base later got seriously sick, and most of those diseases have been tied back to the poisoned water at Camp LeJeune, which the US government knew about but covered up for YEARS.
The five people listed in this thread are just a handful of victims who have gone public with the shameless “offers of judgment” the US government has recently offered them.
Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward @ASGWoodward at the DOJ signed off on these disgraceful offers after being put in charge of the Camp LeJeune settlements earlier this year.
The Trump administration has a critical opportunity to deliver justice to the veterans and families harmed by the Camp LeJeune crisis.
Many of these victims have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on treatment and care as a result of their illnesses from their time at Camp LeJeune. The offers they’ve received do not make them financially whole, and they also don't account for the years stolen from the victims, or from their families, who have had to watch them suffer.

.@Chamath asked @rookisaacman if the aircraft in his presentation was the Blackbird, and instead of saying yes or no, he said NASA is “getting back in the business of flying high and fast again” and talked about “radical airframe and engine designs.” I mean, c’mon now...
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman showed a mysterious aircraft during the portion of his All-In Summit presentation on rebuilding NASA’s X-plane portfolio ✈️
• Isaacman showed a dark silhouette resembling a next-generation SR-71 Blackbird while discussing 'radical airframe and engine designs'
• When asked if the image was the Blackbird, he responded: “You sure that’s the Blackbird?”
• NASA will soon be 'flying once again as high and as fast as we have from decades past, and then even more'
• He criticized NASA being forced to spend its aeronautics budget subsidizing 40-year-old contractor engines instead of pushing technological boundaries

FINANCIAL TIMES: Iran is now turning to crypto to stabilize their currency
Trump’s maximum pressure is working and the naval blockade decreased their oil exports more than 80%, destabilizing the currency
That's why they are pushing crypto now as the US Congress debates the Clarity Act, which, honestly, doesn't do much to close this loophole. It's really simple, is Congress going to pass real legislation to address this or not?

I just got this underwater scooter. It is designed for scuba diving, rated to 130 ft depth and 1 hour of continuous use. Also fun to use in the pool.
Next step is to get my son scuba certified. Then after that spear fishing.

The teamwork between @POTUS and @NASAAdmin on NASA has been incredible to watch. Trump found the right guy, gave him the keys, and Isaacman is delivering. America’s space program hasn’t been this exciting in decades!

Almost 900,000 people in the dark on a clear night in July. No excuse survives that.
There was no weather event, no act of God, just plants that keep failing and a board that keeps billing.
NEW:
🚨 Puerto Rico Bankruptcy and Blackout Update 🚨
More than 370,000 households across Puerto Rico lost power Tuesday night after two major plants failed almost simultaneously. Aguirre’s Unit 2 went down in Salinas and EcoEléctrica lost all three of its units in Peñuelas. 370,000 households equates to roughly 900,000 people. It was the fourth major blackout in Puerto Rico this month!!!
And here’s what should genuinely infuriate everyone: At that same hour, the island had a grand total of 41 megawatts of generation left in reserve… and now officials are admitting that with margins that razor-thin, blackouts like these won’t clear up in minutes the way they’re supposed to on a functioning power grid. They will keep dragging on for hours.
This is what a broken system looks like. And none of it is accidental.
Puerto Rico is now in its TENTH YEAR of a bankruptcy that the unelected Financial Oversight and Management Board refuses to resolve. More than $12 billion in federal funding is just sitting there, untouched. This is money that could be rebuilding the grid, adding generation capacity, making sure consecutive blackouts don’t keep repeating.
But, as long as the FOMB keeps PREPA locked in bankruptcy, that money stays frozen. Meanwhile, the board has spent over $2 BILLION on high-priced attorneys and consultants, as I have previously reported. This is more than five times what Congress originally estimated.
There was no hurricane on Tuesday night. No storm. No natural disaster of any kind. Just aging power plants that keep failing on schedule, a grid with zero backup, and a system that nobody in charge seems remotely interested in fixing. So, what do you think is going to happen when hurricane season hits over the next 3 months? It’s going to get much worse.
The question worth asking is a simple one: who actually benefits from keeping this going? It’s not the families living in Puerto Rico. The people cashing in are the lawyers and consultants billing by the hour what the average Puerto Rican makes in one month, in order to keep alive a bankruptcy that should have ended years ago.
That’s who the board is really working for. It is DISGUSTING.
Hopefully, @POTUS puts a stop to this and saves Puerto Ricans from the vultures who have been looting the island for a decade.

Wow, $270 million was allegedly stolen from a Veterans charity through fake companies and manipulated valuations.
This is a whole new level of fraud that should be investigated by the FBI.
When you steal from our veterans, it’s stealing from those who fought for our great nation.

The same foreign policy “experts” who spent decades letting China walk all over the U.S. are now freaking out because Trump is actually negotiating from a position of strength.
That’s the part they still don’t understand. Trump isn’t playing by the old Beltway rules that always ended with America getting ripped off. He’s forcing China to come to the table on OUR terms.
The China doomers were wrong before, and they’re wrong again. 🇺🇸

NASA has been paying staffing agencies over $1 billion a year to supply workers who’ve been doing the same jobs there for years.
@NASAAdmin is cutting out the middlemen and converting those roles into civil servant positions, same people, same work, but saving taxpayers a fortune.
🚨 JUST IN: Trump NASA Chief Jared Isaacman just DOGE’d the agency by eliminating $1 BILLION per year in WASTE and abuse
GREAT! 👏🏻
We’ve been paying “staffing agencies” for workers, but Isaacman is CONVERTING full-time “contractors” to civil servants
This saves over $1B in taxpayer funds, which can go toward future SPACE missions instead!
Keep crushing it, @NASAAdmin 🔥

Newmont Mining $NEM just reported their highest profits in history at $3.1 billion in free cash flow for Q1 2026.
The way to play this is not buying Newmont, but rather to focus on the smaller to medium sized companies that are building the next huge mine ... which Newmont (or the other majors) will want to acquire.
Two big purchases happened this month at huge premiums of 67% and 79%. Rupert Resources was acquired at a 67% premium by Agnico Eagle. G Mining acquired G2 Goldfields at a 79% premium.
One huge future acquisition will likely be a major mining company buying Aya Gold & Silver (ticker $AYASF) for their Boumadine mine. Boumadine will be a tier 1 scale massive gold and silver mine.
Boumadine is already estimated at 400,000 gold equivalent oz per year, and that doesn't yet include their drilling results from 2025 and 2026. Aya has 12 rigs drilling for their next PEA update and the feasibility plan. The next upgrade in resources will likely increase the scale of Boumadine to 500,000 to 700,000 oz of AuEq per year.
Boumadine is 61% gold, 21% silver and 18% other metals.
The majors need to have these huge new mines to maintain their production levels. Buying a 100,000 oz per year gold deposit doesn't move the needle for a major like Newmont or Barrick or the other big miners. They need the 500,000 oz per year projects.
Aya has that with Boumadine.
