In Garissa, I stood with the ODM family to reaffirm the values my father lived for: unity, justice and service to the people. We honour Baba by carrying his ideals forward. ODM is our home, and we will remain united to the end! @HassanAliJoho @A_S_Nassir @JunetMohamed @gladyswanga

Telling people to "let them rest in peace" while the officers and leaders responsible for state violence face zero accountability is pure gaslighting. You don't get peace without justice. Demanding constitutional rights isn't a "talking point," it's state duty.

John Mbadi suffers from misplaced hubris!
We have lived long to see many like him.
When they fall, they fall through the ground!
If Sakaja runs against a donkey, the latter will win.
Anne Waiguru: I doubt Babu can beat Sakaja in Nairobi; you know why? Look at the demographics of Nairobi. I don’t think Babu can beat Sakaja, especially after that thing they had with Sifuna. If he understands politics, there would be an impact, even if they say we are still together #CitizenSundayLive

It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.
President William Ruto has declared that freedom and democracy are meaningless without development, sharpening the political debate with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over what Kenya needs ahead of the 2027 general election.

I don't own a house. I'll probably struggle to own a house thanks to the taxes Ruto has placed on my payslip. But for some reason, I owe people houses because I have a payslip. To make matters worse, that deduction on my payslip doesn't give me access to the houses?

Well @MigunaMiguna ; so if Jomo Kenyatta detained Jaramogi, Bildad Kagia, George Anyona; and President Moi detained Koigi, Edward Oyugi, Raila, Mutunga and exiled others, WHAT WAS WRONG with President Uhuru and His Deputy Ruto breaking into your house, trashing court orders and your birthright as a Kenyan citizen and bundling you into a plane to Canada? Was it right just because other Presidents did it?
This is garbage, @LinusKaikai. Jomo Kenyatta used to foam in the mouth, loudly and consistently curse, hurl epithets, threats and vulgarities almost on a daily basis. Kenyatta routinely swore to “swaga Jaramogi and Luos kama unga” and often described what he purportedly did to Ngina in bed.
Daniel Toritich Moi was equally vulgar, violent and threatening on public podiums.
The statement“mavi ya kuku” was elevated from village dens to the sanctum of State House and public discourse by none other than the fake gentleman called Mwai Kibaki.
Despot Uhuru Kenyatta’s public threats and vulgarities, including against members of the judiciary, is well documented.
So are @realDonaldTrump’s daily childish rants, racist threats and vulgarities.
So, stop pretending that @WilliamsRuto is doing something new. As much as Ruto has failed in many things, I don’t believe his lexicon has degenerated to the levels of his predecessors.
Even your newly minted hero, Raila Odinga, often publicly abused our innocent mothers’ private parts unprovoked.
We must critique truthfully and with integrity.
Telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
