Yeah, so this just isn't true and how algorithm's work as a whole. I have 80k on tiktok, stopped posting for 2 years, came back to massive changes and now average low views when I do post on there. Blanket assumptions are gross.

Do streamers not care that it's insanely obvious that they bought their followers? Like... guys fr. If you have 40k followers and your videos are getting 500 views, the math ain't mathing... I can't be the only one noticing...

as a creator who has been in the space for a long time, i want to encourage people to stop being so paranoid of other creators. just because a partner is lurking in your stream before they go live, this does NOT mean they are using you to farm a shoutout. maybe they just enjoy your streams and only have time to watch a bit before they go live. posting things like this publicly only discourages other creators from engaging with you. the average chatter is not going to think twice about someone with a checkmark lurking in your stream. you are the only one giving that so much thought and attention. we need to be more positive and supportive of each other. stop thinking every other streamer is out to get you or use you.

The gameplay content isn't censored on the PC or console platforms. For content creation, make sure you properly label all streams and videos with appropriate age restrictions, sexual theme labels and other necessary platform tools. There is no ‘streamer mode,' so context and intent behind your content will matter. You will need to adhere to each streaming platform's community guidelines.

Konami thinks their next entry in the Silent Hill franchise could be the best one ever made, a “masterpiece” even. Silent Hill: Townfall is a first person horror game releasing in 5 days. Oh, and the developers behind it? Many of them worked on a game called Alien: Isolation.

Most streamers don’t quit because they fail. They quit because progress is slower than they expected.
