The decentralized draft is a self-inflicted disaster for the NHL. The Draft used to be a unique event with a mystical atmosphere bringing together the entire hockey world to one place for a special weekend. Almost everyone I speak to hopes it goes back to an in person draft.

The Oilers have two amazing players in their prime. Goal this year was to win the Stanley Cup.
Both goalies by this years trade deadline had save percentages below .900. They weren’t good enough.
This loss falls on Jeff Jackson and Stan Bowman. An incredible miscalculation.

Congrats to Leon Draisaitl on 50 to tie it late and 51 to win it in OT! What a season he is having. Hart trophy material. He is one of a few players that will garner 1st and 2nd place votes for MVP. Years past overshadowed by 97. Not this yr. #LetsGoOilers
