it’s so funny how the right spent years making everyone scared of eating bugs and living in pods but the trump administration just says thats exactly what they want lol
JD Vance wants to end the US dollar's position as a global reserve currency, because he thinks it allows Americans to consume too much and do so too cheaply. Keep that in mind the next time you order a $20 burrito on door dash.

The US is run by an organised crime syndicate that is destroying the evidence of their crimes
The Trump administration just made it official: it's demolishing the US's shell company registry, and destroying all of the data it already collected. A disaster for US anti-corruption efforts.

So they banned Chinese electric vehicles in USA But they allowed Waymo to import them and use their cheaper electric cars for an exorbitant taxi service meanwhile the Americans don’t get to buy cheaper electric vehicles Peak capitalism
Just spotted upwards of 500 yes 500 Waymo Ojai today in Mesa, AZ These are produced by Chinese automaker Zeekr of the Geely holding group then retrofitted with Sensors by Magna I don’t know the exact number of cars just want to stress the magnitude of what I saw & the fact the lot went further than my eyes could see

Being told to “cook at home” by generations who enjoyed the height of affordability and then elected politicians who printed trillions and ruined purchasing power is pretty damn insulting to young people if you ask me. This is what they took from you:

Do you want to know why the arts are declining? High art like opera, ballet, theater never made money. They used to be supported by an elite made of wealthy patrons who spent a fortune on those things because they liked them. This is your “elite” now. Tasteless, gauche.

🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they're free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain "all the books in the world." My Take This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email. ISBNdb's website literally says "'AI company destroys two million books' is not a headline that generates sympathy," and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it "digital preservation." I've covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it's irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can't replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it's legal. So it's going to accelerate. "We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out" is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline. Hedgie🤗

I deeply miss the world before AI existed. I’m so exhausted from side eyeing videos, recoiling at tacky fonts, sepia tinted art, the messy blobs and blips of unmatched colors. It’s slowly sucking all the creative life out of the world while it physically destroys it.

I think it more has to do with the fact that the roles have flipped. Left-Leaning creators ive seen advocate for ppl's Rights no matter the situation: Right to protest, right to bear arms, right for probable cause, right against unlawful seizure, right to require warrants to bust in peoples homes, etc. We all agree. Right-Leaning Creators used to do that, now it seems they just want compliance these days (since they believe they are in charge) obedience and no questions asked, kiss the boot. no matter what. People dont like that, no matter whose in charge, especially when those in power abuse it. It's pretty simple. Asmongolds weak leading question and strawmanning only works on idiots who dont think about it. Hes playing to his choir. ICE kills someone again? Blame the victims and the left, no one else couldnbe responsible. Is it working? you tell me.
Asmongold is 100% correct here

Breathing in hefty lungfuls of smoke as I get explosive diarrhea from salad, the sky turns apocalyptic orange while oil companies drill in protected lands, screwworms are eating cattle alive and the president just paid $6 million for rape. And I’m also able to bet on all of it!
Smell smoke this morning? Its coming from a wildfire outbreak in Ontario. While it should not impact air quality much today, smoke at the surface could increase Wednesday into Thursday, potentially reducing visibilities and air quality. High temperatures may also be limited.

The feds are trying to punish Taco Bell for bringing the outbreak to light. They are trying to punish Taco Bell for doing the right thing quickly and without being told to.
The Trump administration is investigating whether or not Taco Bell is to blame for the cyclospora outbreak. You know, the same Taco Bell who said they are going to stop using vegetables on their products to help reduce the spread. WE. ARE. IN. THE. DUMBEST. FUCKING. TIMELINE.
