Let’s remember that the end goal of this election was not to get #bidenharis2020 in the White House, but to achieve #equity and #collectiveliberation. Celebrate quickly, then sober up and hold all elected officials accountable. #Accountability starts today...

Even if 2026 and 2028 result in the change of party in power, Trump has successfully further eroded people’s confidence in governmental institution by demonizing and firing non-partisan career service employees who held the facts. The climb will be steep. instagram.com/reel/DdoliWck2…

This thread is worth a read. The questions that Jacob must be considered by the broader society and consumer base.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

I am one of countless individuals who benefited from working with Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., a true Civil Rights Icon and Human Rights Leader. His 1988 Presidential run was a watershed moment that inspired a new generation of Black leaders to become lawmakers. I had the privilege of serving as an Advisor on his National Commission for Voter Justice, which worked to combat voter suppression. I also contributed to the Federal Anti-Lynching Legislation that he championed and engaged in his efforts to inspire Black elected officials from across the European continent. I am grateful for these opportunities and the lessons learned along the way. My condolences to the Jackson family and Rainbow Push Coalition.

As usual @michaelharriot had time, and he used it giving a masterclass on history. Read the whole thread.
Oh, they understand the question; they're just laughing at how dumb it is. But since you asked, I actually know the answer. Now, I don't want to misquote you, so here is the specific question you asked: A thread.

You have to understand the post in order to have a conversation. No one has given a single example of a culture that has done more. Nowhere am I ignoring the past, but you’re clearly ignoring the present

Ben Carson is on the stage at the White House press briefing. Whether they will use him to talk about Minnesota welfare scandal or new MAHA announcements, it’s a weird flex.

So Speaker Johnson pulls Friday’s votes the day before more information on Epstein is released…today’s votes are the last votes of the year. Today’s votes don’t include Jeffries’ discharge petition to extend ACÁ subsidies. Won’t happen til next year. Merry Christmas on healthcare costs skyrocketing to unaffordable levels. 🎉

Trump’s speech feels like a late night infomercial. He’s trying to sell (gaslight) us on the state of the economy. It feels like a Peter Popoff infomercial selling miracle spring water. 🤦🏿‍♂️

Trump’s Address to the Nation could’ve been a memo, or better yet, he should’ve just left it all on Truth Social. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. 🙌🏻

Am I the only one wondering why President Trump is yelling at us in his Presidential Address to the Nation?

My question for @thehill is what makes this reportable news? At least wait until SAS actually declares his run for office…unless you’re gonna cover every 5th grader with Presidential aspirations. 🤦🏿‍♂️

How bout them #EpsteinFiles? Stay focused! Black mayors have been effective in decreasing crime rates. Yes, there will always be more that needs to be done to bring crime close to zero, but let’s not confuse substantive success with a deflection sham. apnews.com/article/black-may…
