A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.
The most important hour you'll watch this week. 👇

Camille Paglia, the brilliant and fearless cultural critic who I’ve admired for years, put it bluntly: If civilization had been left in female hands we would still be living in grass huts. She wasn’t insulting women but stating a truth about our evolutionary paths. Women, on average, excel at nurturing, relationship-building, managing and sustaining communities. Men, on average, have driven the innovation, provision, risk-taking, and large-scale problem-solving that define our progress. Both are amazing and essential for humanity. Pretending otherwise doesn’t make us more enlightened; it makes us delusional.
We've spent decades treating male ambition not as a force that built civilization, but as a problem to be solved. It's time to stop.

Sometimes I don’t need to work very hard. This woman did my job for me….brilliantly. Let’s just say she won’t be in Keir Starmers Christmas card list. She must have scripted this or at least bullet pointed it but it’s an absolutely biblical roasting of him and everything he has done, a must listen. Well done that lady 👏👏👏🤣🤣🤣

I’m very happy to share that my wife will be hosting her 2nd year of creative retreats in southern France, in and around the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel.
The retreats are thoughtfully run, bringing creativity, good food, and time well spent.

The proposed £5 million-a-year Housing & Tourism Mitigation Fund (HTMF) from the @Edinburgh_CC risks breaching the legal rules that frame the new Visitor Levy (Scotland) Act 2024.
Levy proceeds must be reinvested in services “substantially for, or demonstrably used by, visitors” - housing supply and domestic residential interventions do not qualify as visitor-facing.
The HTMF, as currently structured, could be legally challenged, erode trust among levy-paying accommodation providers, and shift the levy from a tourism investment tool to a general tax.
@ASSCnews urges Edinburgh Council to rethink the HTMF and prioritise visitor-facing infrastructure, heritage and tourism support.

Legislation driven by activist sentiment and not data, a disregard of sector alarm bells and a failure to get to grips with the actual root causes of the housing crisis... then doubled down by ministerial indifference when it went off the rails. Not a great indy advert.
