Jaffe, if policy allows boys to go into girls bathrooms as long as they pretend they're girls, then yes it is a policy question.
Much simpler to bar boys from girls restrooms and vice versa.
It doesn't stop misbehavior, but it does stop inaction on the part of authorities.

It does, Jaffe. If the policy bars boys from the girls' room, it's easy to aggressively enforce that rule. If you start making exceptions, it isn't.

If people believe can't or won't enforce the laws, it makes lawbreaking more attractive.

No it doesn't. It's quite simple:
-If you are a person who wants to go watch other people pee- no matter if you are trans or not- a policy that says girls can't be in boys bathrooms and vice versa won't matter.

Very good. Sex worker removed from proximity to children. She's happy bc shes now making more money. She didn't prioritize the children she was teaching anyway; we should fire more people like her.

Arynne Wexler positions these jokes perfectly
So perfectly that she laughs at little at part of it
She is likely correct that Mayor Mamdani lost 19 friends or family on that day
@ArynneWexler is one of the best based comedians on the scene today
A performer that would be worth traveling into NYC to see

100%. We should not be afraid of the light. It either confirms our acts or shows us our errors.
I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."
- George Washington, 1778

The story of how a left wing, feminist Pittsburgh punk rock band imploded because its lead singer was accused of assaulting a woman in his hotel room....
Let us all join hands and announce that in the interests of equity, anyone who wears dreadlocks in a public facing job should be fired, and humiliated.
Really, TEAM AMERICA WORLD POLICE covered it in the "D*cks can fsck *ssholes" scene:

This is not going away, @CarnegieMellon.
Address it now. You've had 26 days.
“We have never been a place that waits for the future to arrive. We built our reputation by creating it.”
As part of a broader $3 billion commitment to Carnegie Mellon, a landmark $500 million gift will transform CMU’s newly renamed Kenneth C. Griffin School of Computer Science to honor Griffin’s generosity.
The right to do something does not, in fact, make it the right thing to do.
We used to know this; in fact, keeping young men and women separate in their schooling at a time when self control was a problem was done to solve that problem.
But feminism insisted otherwise.
This is a sharp piece on the Cornell case. The public is largely focused on debates about the law (which is important) but as @MilnerYona points out here, what happened at Cornell makes clear that mere consent is wildly insufficient for determining whether something was ethical.

Yes, Oliver Dinko, a lot of us were more tolerant of TQ stuff seven to ten years ago. We saw it as harmless. We wanted to live and let live, and as long as we weren't forced to applaud, we didn't care.
That was before we had to attend struggle sessions at work, before you started insisting that a man who wanted to dress up like a woman was a woman. It was before trannies started shooting up schools.
I'm not going to applaud "abrosexual" (which I still think sounds like you love trees) or "bigender" (which honest to god, I read as "big-ender" at first, hey it still seemed like it made sense.)
We're done with you weirdos screaming at us.
