Louisville's last game in Lawrence was an 85-78 win on Jan. 11, 1992, in which Dwayne Morton scored 20 points in 17 minutes. Courier-Journal columnist Rick Bozich described the play you mentioned as follows: "Morton's instincts not to let anybody score are so strong that sometimes he does dangerous things. Midway through the second half he lost the ball to Kansas guard Rex Walters near the U of L free-throw line. Before Walters could race downcourt for a layup, Morton reached out and grabbed the back of his jersey. The only problem was that all three officials and all 15,800 people squeezed into Allen Fieldhouse saw him. "The call was an intentional foul - Morton's fourth. Walters drained both free throws, and (Alonzo) Jamison flashed through the lane for a layup that tied the score at 56."

Louisville improves to 68-10 in in-season exhibition games with an 89-83 win at Kansas. Jackson Shelstad led the Cards with 23 points. If the game had counted, Louisville would have the best winning percentage at Allen Fieldhouse of any Kansas opponent with more than three games played (4-2).
