Most bars on the shelf are classified by the FDA as synthetic detergents, formulated in a lab with harsh chemicals, synthetic foaming agents and preservatives like parabens.
Real soap is oils, liquid and lye, combined through saponification. We use the High Temperature Fluid Hot Process method, which drives saponification to completion in the pot rather than over weeks of curing. That process produces glycerin, a humectant that draws moisture into your skin. Commercial manufacturers strip it out and sell it separately. We leave it in.
That is the whole difference, and it is why our bars cost more than the supermarket alternative.

Part of my undergrad is philosophy. I specialized in both Aristotle and Plato.
I've met no one more knowledgeable on these two ancients than Tim is, especially Catholics.
