The religious leaders couldnโt believe that Jesus knew the Word, because He had no formal training. They marveled at it.
Sometimes, we come under the same scrutiny because we speak the Word with authority, and yet many of us have had no formal training. We follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We are His. He is the Word. His Spirit lives in us, giving us the ability to rightly divide the word of truth.
โA disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. Somehow, folks that actually prefer/enjoy reading KJV for their primary, but also read other versions as well, have gotten grouped along with being part of the KJV only โcultโ.
Iโve personally read from that version since an early child. I feel comfortable reading it and itโs like an old shoe, only it wonโt wear out. I donโt go around harping that this is the only/bestest/vip bible out there. Yet, Iโm seeing repeated posts which at the very least are not very kind to KJV readers in general. ๐ค
I think youโll find the bulk of us donโt โharpโ or spend time trying to move the KJV bible version up above the other ones. Weโre simply trying to spread the good news along with our brethren.

Reading the comments in the post below, seeing the mockers and their pride on full display.
The foolishness of man knows no bounds. If you find yourself standing before God with your sin exposed, you will know three things instantly with no doubt or questions of any kind. You won't even be able to utter a defense, because you will know the truth.
1. You where so very very wrong to deny Jesus and reject His free gift of Salvation and you will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
2. You will know you alone are 100% guilty of every single sin you have comitted, you will know the weight of your actions and the damage it caused not just to yourself but to others.
3. You will know and understand the magnitued of Gods Holiness and how you deserve nothing except eternal punishment in the fires of hell. God is perfectly just in His judgment, you will know and understand all this with no argument on your part.
You do not want to stand before God with your sin exposed. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can cover your sin. All sin, past sin, present sin, and future sin, Jesus paid the price with His sinless pure blood. Jesus Gave His life for you, He defeated death and the grave for you.
Thankfully, you don't have to worry about facing God as Judge. If you believe in Him now as Lord and Savior. Let Him wash you clean, believe, be forgiven and have hope and peace for the future. Believe and be ready. Salvation is not complicated, as I have said many times before, just believe.
