Why do California state agencies feel the need to hide science?
A confidentiality agreement has been keeping some science secret for years around a major water proposal for the Bay-Delta that faces a key vote at the end of this month.

My biggest question for democrats is how does subsidizing healthcare, welfare, & SNAP for illegal aliens make life more affordable for Americans?
A: It doesn’t.

Not only is California hemorrhaging businesses to other states, not only are our gas and utility prices DOUBLE the national averages, but our utility companies have killed over 130 people in wildfires since Newsom was elected, and destroyed nearly 30,000 homes.
If that weren't bad enough, hundreds more people have died from inhaling toxic dust from the burned up solar panels, EVs, and other "clean" energy tech that burned up in these fires...even when a utility company didn't start the fire, we still have residents dying as a direct result of Newsom's energy policies.
In the Palisades, even though LADWP didn't start the fire, hundreds (if not thousands) of homes burned unnecessarily because they failed to de-energize the power poles, and the downed lines sparked new spot fires outside of the fire control lines and fire perimeter, outflanking the firefighters. Our energy policy in California is absolutely insane.

Wholesome. More of this, please....
Just drove through Clinton, Iowa, and stopped at @Culvers. After Lara finished taking my order, she looked at my sweatshirt and said, “I’m old enough to know who Walter Payton was.”
I told her, “That’s my dad.”
She freaked out!
Then 17-year-old Ze lost it, too. He told me WP was his favorite football player.
Before our food even came out, I took pictures with everyone. What a special, unexpected moment.
Thank you, Lara & the entire team for making my day. 🙏🏽
@WalterPayton, you have no idea the impact you left down here. Your legacy continues to touch people in places you never imagined. 🙏🏽

If I were a hair surgeon, I would just play clips of Gavin Newsom as my ads. “Look fellas, you can destroy an entire state, steal $120B for a fake train, and admit to money laundering and just…get away with it, as long as you have a full head of hair”

Meanwhile Maria Shriver and the Kennedys haven’t given ONE CENT toward the Kennedy Center renovations. They let that building rot for decades. That’s why the ceiling came crashing down and they finally had to shut the whole place down.
Do us all a favor and shut the hell up.
Trump raised $17 million to save it. What have you done besides being Arnold’s ex-wife and sitting down with Oprah?
We’ll wait. 🥱
And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.
It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.
Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A San Francisco woman made the first call on 9/11.
This is Betty Ong. She was born and raised in San Francisco and was a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11.
Betty was the first person to alert authorities to the hijackings that took place on September 11, 2001.
Minutes after hijackers seized the plane, Ong used an onboard phone to reach the American Airlines reservations desk. She reported that the cockpit was not answering, someone had been stabbed in business class, mace was in the cabin, and that she believed the flight was being hijacked. She stayed on the line for 23 minutes, passing along details from other crew members until Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m.
That call was the first documented report of a hijacking that day. It helped authorities understand what was happening on the plane and identify the hijackers by seat number.
