“It was always about the coffee.” An early @parkrun mantra, but still true today. For us, it usually means @EthiopianTable in Palmer Park, but in closing at this month's end, tomorrow is a good opportunity to say thank you to Tutu. See you at Tutu’s.☕️🍰 #loveparkrun🌳

Our post run spot is closing, so come along, enjoy some coffee, cake or breakfast and help us say thank you to Tutu and wish her well as she starts her next chapter. Let’s give Tutu and @EthiopianTable the send-off they deserve. ❤️ #loveparkrun🌳

Our volunteer roster is looking fairly healthy. However we still need someone to do course set up. It also means we don't end up with quizzical participants in Sonning wondering where they should have turned off! Email [email protected] if you can help. #loveparkrun🌳

Well, that's awkward. Nobody put their hand up for a milestone this week. Not one. Even when we'd processed results the closest was RD Mark himself, who clocked 150 volunteer occasions. So unofficial #MilestoneMonday congrats to Mark, & get counting everyone!😄 #loveparkrun🌳

Huge congrats to Harry & Sharon (25), Eddie (50) and Esther (100) on their milestones! 👏🎉 We welcomed 35 different clubs, including 54 @ReadingRoadrunners for their club champs. 💚💙 Event 714 = 300 finishers + 54 Reading Roadrunners. 🧮😄 #loveparkrun🌳

We're late for #MilestoneMonday, 😬so we wish Hannah, Oliver, Zhenpeng, Joseph and Gjis a happy #TShirtTuesday. Gjis volunteered for the first time last week after he felt guilty not doing so before. But it's 100% optional & 100% awesome.🙌 So happy 251 Gjis! 😉 #loveparkrun🌳

Sun, fun, & another 5k done! 😎 Thankfully it wasn't as hot as recent days, so our walk / jog / run wasn't as hard as it could have been. A big thank you to all as had tokens went missing today! All 327 tokens came back safe! 🙌 Results: parkrun.org.uk/reading/resul… #loveparkrun🌳
