This week we had the thrill of joining the school's debate with other schools at the Athenaeum
We saw historical treasures such as the Magna Carta, a passport from Thomas Molyneux & original maps showing the Liverpool to Manchester railway. We explored the magnificent library.
It was brilliant to have you join us at the Young Minds, Big Debates event at The Athenaeum. It's wonderful to see your pictures!

Well done @CroxtethC! You were fantastic in the Young Minds, Big Debates event yesterday for World Children's Day!
Yesterday, some Year 6's went to debating at The Athenaeum in Liverpool City Centre.
Not only did the enjoy the debates, they enjoyed several interesting artefacts and loved the building itself!
What a lovely day they had!

Today is World Children's Day and we're celebrating by holding two different events for children where they get the chance to discuss and debate issues that matter to them. We're holding an online debate as well as a face to face event at the Athenaeum.
