Mercury approaches the Pleiades over the next few evenings in the NW sky after sunset. This was the view at 21:30 BST on 25th April. #stargazing #astronomy #mercury #BBCstargazing

This is a really nice explanation of the Black Hole image and what we're actually looking at youtube.com/watch?v=zUyH3Xhp… and a follow-up youtube.com/watch?v=S_GVbudd…
A stunning trio of objects will grace the morning sky tomorrow (31st). Look SE before sunrise to see the crescent Moon nestled between Venus and Jupiter #stargazing #venus #jupiter #moon #astronomy
Mercury is well placed for observing over the next week or so. It's above right of brighter Venus this evening for example shortly after sunset. You'll need a low and clear western horizon.
