Just read “ Politics And The English Language” by George Orwell. Written in 1946. Roughly 30 pages. As relevant now as it was when written. If modern discussions filled with a lot of words, but little to no meaning bothers you… this is a must read! 🔥🔥🔥

You have inherent worth. You have value that is not tied to appearance, wealth, talents, or the evaluations of others. You matter.

Check out this amazing map showing independent book stores of the Midwest. It truly is a work of art! Great to see so many options for locally owned independent book stores. Well done @beardhero! 🔥🔥🔥
Dragon Tale books in Menomonie Wisconsin. Owner and operator Ann has made this a place to not only shop, but for people to gather and talk books. A must see if in town!

Jack Kerouac display at Public Market bookstore in Viroqua WI. I am totally dusting off “On the Road” tonight.
Just finished “The Trial” by Franz Kafka. A shockingly terrifying book of arbitrary and distant unreasoning authority. It is a haunting story, and important read due to its originality and influence on later dystopian works. Highly recommended!👍

28 years ago today, Forrest Gump hit the box office. I was honored to play the wounded Vietnam Veteran, Lt Dan Taylor, and represent so many of our wounded veterans who selflessly served our country. And today, it’s an honor to help “the real Lt. Dan’s” @GarySiniseFound #icecream – at Nashville, TN
