America’s asking for more parts than it can currently make. We’re trying to close that gap and we need more hands to do it.
Openings across all of our departments. Take a look at what each team needs.

Big news on its way. We aren’t releasing designs until a little later but what we’ve got to tell you in ten days is equally exciting.

Rainmaker just produced ~19M gallons of water in Alaska via next-gen cloud seeding over 3 hours of operations.
We are the first company to provably produce precipitation in Alaska. As promised, we’ve linked our white paper and relevant data.
In the future, Rainmaker will protect and restore glaciers with man-made snowfall.
Immediately, this demonstration shows how Rainmaker will add new water to the Colorado River and Great Salt Lake in the coming months.
We turned around this analysis and white paper just a couple days after operating. There are many data sources I want to deepen our understanding of the atmosphere and increase our provable production; we’re building the instruments to collect that data in subsequent operations. But at Rainmaker, we won’t tout LOIs, simulations, or lab tests. What matters is physically measuring that you’ve affected the atmosphere; proving that we’ve produced water. We prefer sharing only the tech that has proven to make more water for farms, industries, and ecosystems in need.
Expect a regular cadence of these from us as we build the best atmospheric science lab in the world. Feedback is welcome in the interim.

Texas needs @basepowerco. America needs it.
Less than a month ago, the hourly peak load on ERCOT (Texas's grid) hit an all-time high.

BREAKING: The bipartisan act to legalize supersonic flight just passed Senate Commerce Committee *unanimously*. It was previously passed by the House, also *unanimously*.
Supersonic flight isn't red or blue—it's red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸

Today I ran an experiment that exposed to what I believe to be one of the biggest threats to America right now
I attempted got an Aluminum 6061-T651 quote from a Chinese mill and from an American mill.
The Chinese mill gave me a price over the phone and even followed up twice during the day.
The American mill had no one to answer. I tried two others same thing. Finally got a hold of the fourth which sent me to their distributor.
So I call the distributor and it was 4.75x the price of the Chinese metal on the exact same lead time.
This is the reality: America is being priced out of its own industrial future while China is making it effortless to buy.
This is why 50% of our customers don't care anymore where the raw materials come from, because they have given up on domestic.
If we want to support reindustrialization and domestic manufacturing, we need a stronger mill supply chain.
Otherwise the factories of tomorrow won’t be American, they’ll be Chinese.

Bring your laser guns folks. The party in Left Field is figuratively and literally heading to Left Field.

Peruse Starcloud’s site and you’ll quickly find yourself in a 3 hour rabbit hole. @PhilipJohnston is building one of the wildest companies on the planet (or, technically off it).

TOMORROW at 7:15am ET, Issue #18 of @ReadLeftField hits inboxes.
Featuring @Starcloud_ (co-founder @PhilipJohnston) — whose answer to “where do we put the data center?” is essentially: Not here. Not on this planet.
Buckle in folks. The party in Left Field is going to space.

Since March 1st, we've published 14 issues on the most wild and ambitious startups on the planet. The ones operating way out in Left Field.
It started with a Wednesday night conversation with a friend about @reflectorbital and @bennbuilds... a company literally beaming sunlight from space to anywhere on Earth. Four days later, Issue #1 was live.
Since then, 7 of the 14 founders we've covered have engaged with the content.
X might be the only place on the internet where that's even possible. And honestly... it's what fires me up most.
I'm just a person writing about what I enjoy. But the fact that I can publish something on a Sunday morning and we're talking to the people actually building these companies a few hours later still blows my mind.
We're going to keep publishing, keep finding the companies nobody's heard of (yet!), and keep writing it the way your friend would explain it at a bar.
One day we're going to place one of our subscribers at one of these companies. We're not there yet. But we will be.
It's a party in Left Field. And you sure as hell don't want to miss it.
