I do think FAST FOREVER will happen.
I don't think it will resemble anything close to what was originally planned for it after FAST X. I don't think Vin or Louis will direct. I don't think there is a finished script. I do think that March 2028 is becoming... slightly unlikely.
Okay @2Fast2Forever it's time... Is FAST FOREVER going to happen? Not will another Fast movie ever be made. We all know some sort of reboot will happen someday. But is FAST FOREVER as a sequel to FAST X, as the movie they've been planning, going to ever see the light of day?
Getting a bit ridiculous now if true. At this point I'm starting to accept this movie isn't happening... at least not in any form that it was originally going to be. That way if it does happen it will be a nice surprise but I'm not counting on it.
‘FAST FOREVER’ reportedly has no director or finished script despite Vin Diesel previously claiming the film had the “best script” he’s read in decades.
Louis Leterrier is reportedly no longer attached to direct.

I could see Universal going a similar route if Louis Leterrier doesn't end up returning for FAST FOREVER. (It won't be Vin...) My guess is they go after F. Gary Gray who has already proven himself with FATE OF THE FURIOUS, which while not a fan favorite, was very successful.
2028 is gonna be a good year for Family.
'Fast & Furious' TV Adaptation Ordered to Series by Peacock, Eyed for 2028 Premiere variety.com/2026/tv/news/fas…
I hope that the Fast & Furious TV series is called FAST & FURIOUS TV SERIES because no other title would be more on brand for the franchise.
This is great news! Looking forward to hearing more details...
EXCLUSIVE: Start those engines because the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise is coming to television.
Deadline understands that Peacock has greenlit its first television series based on the hit movie franchise, which has made more than $7B at the global box office over the last 25 years.
The series comes from Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman, who will write and serve as co-showrunners.

Listen, I like Casino Royal just as much as the next guy but I will ALWAYS think that Brosnan should have gotten one more...
@calvindyson have you ever done a video ranking Bond "what ifs" in order of your interest in seeing them? A third Dalton in '91, Connery in OHMSS, Brosnan in '87 as originally planned, Lazenby staying for DAF or longer, Brosnan returning for Casino Royal, stuff like that...
...Dalton taking over in '67 or '79. I don't know how deep into alternate casting you would want to get but a video on some of the very near misses (Brolin), runners up (Bean), or actors who turned the part down (Burton) over the years would be interesting as well. @calvindyson
Until Fast Forever comes out that is...
Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” has become the highest-grossing film in the history of Universal Pictures.
The 114-year-old film company announced the milestone on Saturday, when the Matt Damon-led epic’s weekend haul will bring its domestic earnings to $601.2 million, with an international tally of $1.083 billion in ticket sales. That’s a grand total of $1.68 billion around the world and a slew of records set along the way.

Well he said they could. He's just speculating like the rest of us. But see, this is the problem... bringing Paul "back" and how they do it is going to become the entire narrative around this movie and distract from everything else. And if it looks bad on top of it... a disaster.
Paul Walker could return as Brian in ‘FAST FOREVER’ using AI.
Cody Walker says he won’t return as a body double, they will instead use AI to create footage of Paul, if his daughter approves.

Great to see @ChadLindberg getting some love during the 25th anniversary. Hey, are we sure that Jesse actually died? Dom and Brian did speed of pretty quick...
25 years later and we can all agree Jesse is much more than a “computer guy” Thank you @ChadLindberg for giving us this iconic character that we still quote to this day.
Now I just want to see an Alex Ross Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Fast and the Furious...
I just don't see this happening. If ANYTHING he's talking about Los Bandoleros 2 again and even THAT might still just be Vin trying to manifest something as usual... That being said I would like to see him direct another Fast short film but not Fast Forever.
