Mark Webster will be giving a talk 10.09.26 with Computer Arts Society about the ReCode Project.
Over the years Mark has worked with his students using the project as a loose framework to both teach code and visual culture.

The ReCode Project was initiated in 2012 by M. Epler as a community-driven effort to preserve computer art.
Concept : choose a computer art work and reconstruct the work using a modern-day programming language.
The third edition of the Barcelona Generative Art Exhibition (MAGBa) is born with a look back in order to find new paths forward. Under the title "Orígens", the exhibition proposes a dialogue between pioneering works from the 1970s and contemporary practices of generative art. ↓
The starting point is an anniversary: this year marks fifty years since the publication of "Computer Graphics and Art" magazines.

The exhibition is opened until the 28th August in Palo Alto, Barcelona (Spain)
