I love animals (esp dogs!) and funny people. Books are the best escape from reality!

Can we PLEASE normalize just hanging out at each other’s houses again? Why does every friendship meetup need to be a whole production, a restaurant reservation, and a $150 bill? I just want to sit on your couch, drink something, and talk for hours.

Being awake but pretending you’re asleep because you don’t want your dogs to realize it’s morning is a level of deception I never thought I’d participate in. 😭😂

Americans are well aware of public executions. We all saw what happened to Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Instead of adding pink ribbons to their products this month maybe companies should just remove the cancer causing ingredients.

I need to know how many of you were the kid who read absolutely everything. Cereal boxes. Shampoo bottles. The phone book. I did not require plot. I required words.

On paper, I’m in my 50’s & it’s really confusing… In my head, I’m 35. At a concert, I’m 25 After 10pm, I’m 72. Getting up off the floor, I’m 93. When someone makes me mad, I’m 2 BUT- When an 80’s song comes on, I’m 17, drunk in a field, & my mom thinks I’m at a sleepover 🤪

Someone asked if I was ready for the fall and it took me a second to realize they meant autumn and not the total collapse of society.

The absolute audacity of jobs asking for a "cover letter" in 2026. What do you want me to say? "Ever since I was a little boy, I dreamed of synergizing B2B sales pipelines for a mid-size logistics firm"? I want HEALTH INSURANCE.

So just in the past few days we found out: - Don Jr's wedding was paid for by one of Putin's best friends. - The Pentagon somehow has accidentally sent pieces of an F-35 fighter jet to Hong Kong - Canada is basically ending its relationship with us and pivoting to Europe. - Trump is plotting to demolish The Kennedy Center because he can't put his name on it. If you voted for Trump, you are an idiot. You just are.

The Kennedy Memorial is made of irreplaceable marble that was gifted by Italy. Matisse tapestries found throughout were gifted from France. The massive starburst chandelier in the Opera Hall, and lights along walkways, were a gift from Sweden. The record-breaking stage curtains were a gift from Japan. They had to build special looms to weave them because of how big they are. The grounds are beautiful with displays of art. This is what Trump is destroying.

Nothing will ever convince me that being 12 years old, sitting on the floor of your bedroom, listening to music on a tiny CD player while flipping through a magazine wasn’t one of the most peaceful eras of human civilization.

The two dumbest events of the 21st century, so far: 1. America electing Trump to a second term after the psychotic shitstain already tried to overthrow democracy. 2. The Brits voting to pass Brexit. Bigotry makes absolute fucking morons of people who are already stupid.

Some high school kids were talking and said “No way Gen X wrote 10-page papers without AI.” Oh, honey. We wrote them without reading the book…the night before they were due…by hand and in cursive. We are not the same.

My 15yr old granddaughter still hasn't emptied the dishwasher. I asked her to do it four hours ago. Now she's freaking out because she can't find her phone... Which is on silent in the dishwasher. Follow me for more amazing parenting tips….

Forty years ago, nobody carried water everywhere. You left the house at 8 AM with absolutely no hydration strategy whatsoever. Somehow you survived until dinner without a 40-ounce emotional-support tumbler.
