The number of active DReps currently ranges between 100 and 130. Two proposals have a deadline this weekend. I know many DReps tend to vote on the final day, yet I do not expect a significant surge of interest this time around. There is almost no discussion taking place regarding these proposals, not even on DrepTalk. I believe that if a major proposal requesting tens of millions of ADA were submitted, DReps might actually show up. It seems they show little interest in voting on smaller proposals. Several DReps have recently retired. Instead of "power to the edges," power is becoming centralized in the hands of the top DReps. It appears that only the major players see value in voting. Many SPOs have gone out of business because, for years, no one addressed the issues surrounding multi-pool operators or pushed for parameter changes. I perceive a similar lack of interest in resolving governance issues. From my position, I can identify the problem, but unfortunately, I cannot solve it. In any case, I want to assure you that I remain an active DRep.
