I watched my dad go from a diehard Cowboys fan, to a fan with an “it is what it is” attitude. He’s gotten to where he’ll casually watch games, but doesn’t go out of his way to watch. I used to think he was crazy, but I feel like I’m finally starting to understand. This sucks.

i swear this is a distinction without a difference. This framework makes no sense. I think what yall are trying to do with boundaries is discuss the ways in which we can appropriately enforce our boundaries. Because a "i wont date a drinker" REQUIRES "u must not drink if with me"
