No. Absolutely not.
This is a classic psychological tactic called “BANDWAGON FALLACY”…they (the govt funded strategy groups/media, BlueSky etc, want you to believe something)
They are spinning this narrative using their “strategy group” psychological operations.
The phenomenon being employed here is called “bandwagon fallacy”…when people believe something mainly because other people believe it, regardless of their own beliefs.
They utilize Opinion Polls: News segments that frequently lead with phrases like "Polls show an overwhelming majority of citizens support this new policy." This shifts the focus from why a policy is good or bad to the mere fact that it is popular, nudging undecided viewers to fall in line.
By creating the illusion of a massive, unified consensus, media outlets capitalize on our natural psychological fear of missing out (FOMO) or being socially isolated.
The truth Canadians need to believe before falling for this latest psyops is the following:
July 1, 1867: Canada became a self-governing entity called the Dominion of Canada through Confederation.
This date is celebrated as Canada Day.
Britain still kept control over foreign policy and constitutional changes.
Then on April 17, 1982: Canada patriated its constitution with the Canada Act. This final step meant the British Parliament could no longer change Canada's laws, making the country fully sovereign.
We do not need to step backwards into a feudal state.

@Dave_Eby makes $232k a year; his wife, a Dr., makes $352K a year. $550k household income, & they are using taxpayer-funded $ 10-a-day daycare. Are you kidding me? Meanwhile, struggling families can't gain access to it. What happened to the rich being able to pay a little more?

CBC’s Marketplace has delivered another hack job on food inflation. In my view, it is one of the worst shows on television right now. This week’s segment featured two economists whose opinions fit the program’s narrative, without presenting the data, peer-reviewed research or modelling needed to substantiate their claims.
Years ago, when I was pre-interviewed for the show, I felt they were fishing for one or two specific sound bites to convince Canadians that ALL businesses are greedy and utterly unethical. A balanced discussion did not seem to be the objective. This week’s coverage left me with the same impression.
Expert commentary should be challenged and supported by evidence, especially on a taxpayer-funded program. Instead, CBC's Marketplace too often presents opinions as conclusions and leaves viewers with an incomplete understanding of complex issues.
I no longer respond to their interview requests. Canadians deserve rigorous journalism, transparent evidence and a fair discussion.
I find this kind of coverage disgusting.

The Kamloops Indian Residential School was operating from 1890 to 1978, 88 years - not one child was ever unaccounted for. Ever. 88 years, no child reported missing, letting alone murdered!
No aboriginal tribes in British Columbia are claiming they can name any one child who went missing or is unaccounted for in the entire 88 years the KIR school operated.

Our neighbours here in Sechelt did not have cloth, they wore skins and tree bark. No homes, they were nomadic, (except on the coast where they had long houses), No plumbing, No wheel, No commerce (money), No education, No written language. They were a primitive culture that raided other villages to murder and pillage. They had slaves, took prisoners and were fond of torture. They were a savage bunch.
Yet we mouth fawning praise for these former slavers & warring cultures. We bow to them in submission and deference.
I’m all for starting fresh as equals. Give each one land that is individually attached to that person and their heirs, forever.
No more multiple nations within one nation.
No chiefs running corrupt local bands like fiefdoms.
No more should the children born today be enslaved to hand over their earnings in perpetuity to the great great grandchildren of someone who hunted rabbits in the bush over there.

Counting the original $1.1 billion in COVID-19 ventilator spending, Canada could have bought 269 to 807 brand-new MRI machines. But those ventilators were sent to landfill and the money is gone. 🇨🇦💸
I recently learned that the entire country of Canada has fewer MRI machines than the state of Pennsylvania, despite having 3x the population.
That's wild... The median time for a scan is over 4 months. 💀

In summer 2024, the Ford government announced they were closing "safe injection" sites and pivoting to treatment.
The "experts" said deaths would increase as a result.
What really happened is amazing. A huge drop in opioid overdose deaths.

I still don't think Canadians appreciate just how crazy the unmarked grave allegations at Kamloops were. So I tried to sum it up as best as I could ...
The unmarked graves at Indian residential schools mentioned by the Truth and Reconciliation predominantly refer to students who died of disease, usually tuberculosis and usually before 1930. They were then buried in onsite cemeteries with wooden markers, with the result that the grave location was lost when the marker rotted away. When you hear about graves being excavated at IRS sites, it's usually something like this.
The Kamloops 215, from the start, was an entirely different thing. It purported to provide evidence of an insane blood libel that the Catholic Church was secretly murdering Indigenous children en masse as late as the 1960s. The specific "knowing" was that staff were disappearing Kamloops Indian Residential School students and burying them in the school's apple orchard in the middle of the night. This was despite the fact that nobody could actually name a specific student that had been disappeared in this fashion.
What Kamloops did was equivalent to claiming that we finally had physical evidence of the Satanic ritual abuse panic. So, think of it like a Canadian hospital publicly claiming that they'd found an onsite mass grave filled with babies murdered by Satanists in the 1980s.
Actual residential school deaths were employed as cover for an utterly bananas urban legend. And that's why, in 2021, Canada was thrown into a profoundly destructive cultural revolution from which we may never recover.

Sweaty question for American coffee shops ☕
I ordered a regular drip coffee. Black.
The barista took three seconds to pour it into a paper cup and set it on the counter. Total transaction: four seconds.
Then, with a gentle smile, he grabbed the iPad register and spun it 180 degrees toward me.
"It's just gonna ask you a quick question! :)"
The screen glared at me with three massive, glowing rectangles:
[ 20% ] [ 25% ] [ 30% ]
At the very bottom, in light grey, 6-point font that required an electron microscope to see: "custom / no tip."
The barista folded his hands and stared directly into my eyes with unblinking, expectant warmth.
My finger hovered over the glass. My heart hammered. I was not buying a latte. I was taking a polygraph test for my moral character in front of six strangers in line.
If I press "No Tip" on a drip coffee, does an alarm sound? Does my photo get printed on the wall?
Why does an iPad spin make everyone in America feel like a hostage negotiator? 😭💸
