Anyone have any desktop recording software that isn't too bloated, doesn't suck, and isn't OBS?
OBS is fine but I kinda need something not made for streaming, OBS is too bloated for my needs. I just want a simple recorder.
Bonus points if it can auto-crop.
Slow #indiedev over the weekend as I went to @vcfsouthwest.
Had a blast, and bought a Toshiba Libretto 75CT!! :D

I wanted to try uploading and embeding a video from youtube into here, but that seems to have failed. I continue to play with it. For now accept the true embed here

This week I somehow came up with some really weird waveforms with a bit of filtering. How I did that? I do not know, but I like it!

Who said you can't find inspiration for games in the old paintings? What an inspiring piece!

It's weird how there's a "start up story" trope of:
"Me and my friend were laid off from , so we decided to . Come look!"
But then half the time with these stories, you look at the thing, and think to yourself "oh, that's why you were 'laid off' huh?"
I'm all for supporting everyone, but sometimes it's a bit silly when you can see the obvious failings that spotlight the whole reason the big pros didn't want them anymore.
Having said that, I've also seen 10,000 insanely amazing things come from the same, probably more genuine, situation.
Spent today fixing my #3dprinter. The MCU died on the poor thing, it would completely lose power when the bed heater was turned on. Last comment has videos.
Luckily I had a spare, so it was just a swapout + firmware flash.
