Many called my post "childish," which I think is interesting. Most of them are just too saturated in modern culture to see how serial monogamy is exactly the childish play-acting of an actual relationship. Anyone who takes his life seriously would see a break up as a waste.
This thread makes for a great example of this type of "anti-normie" right wing thought: the want to live as perpetual children. This is not how a functioning adult thinks

Prison cells built during the Spanish Civil War were designed as “psycho-technical” torture chambers inspired by the work of surrealist painter Salvador Dali and abstract artists Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee, among others. The Military Information Service of the Spanish Republican Army contracted Alphonse Laurencic, a French citizen of Slovenian heritage to design the cells, meant to hold known or suspected Nationalists who were aligned with General Franco’s fascist forces. Laurencic was an artist, musician, and architect as well as an anarchist and member of the National Confederation of Workers. The cells were built inside Catholic churches by forced laborers who first stripping out all religious iconography before construction. The jails were called ‘Chekas’ in honor of the original Soviet secret police organization because the USSR was providing support to the Republican government at the time. At least three Chekas were built between 1937 and 1939, in the Santa Úrsula convent in Valencia and the churches on Vallmajor and Zaragoza streets in Barcelona. The tiny beds were tilted at 20-degree angles so that prisoners would slide off onto the floor if they ever fell asleep, and some rooms had a very high, angled chair which was impossible to sit on. The floors themselves were covered with a random pattern of standing bricks meant to keep the prisoner from walking or lying down. Green and red flashing lights would wear them down mentally, and the walls were painted with geometric patterns intended to provoke dizziness and visual discomfort. Prisoners could also hear an amplified metronome which moved at varying speeds and were kept within sight of a clock that ran too fast, all to further disorient them. After General Franco’s forces claimed victory over the Republicans, the new government put Laurencic on trial in front of a military tribunal, and he was executed in 1939. His work on the prison cells was largely unknown for more than 60 years, until art historian Jose Milicua uncovered a document summarizing Laurencic’s trial. #spain #civilwar #surrealism #modernism #bauhaus

This isn’t a protest, it’s anarchy, The authorities need to man up and put it down with force. Ibn Taymiyya said, “Sixty years of a tyrannical leader is better than a single night of anarchy.”

The basic takeaway here is that European ruling elites from England to Poland, whether in the 19th Century or 12th Century would have replaced their proud uppity native peasantry with docile Hindu migrant labourers if they could have. The technology simply wasn't yet there.

Who exactly are the "oppressors" in France, a country arguably more redistributive than most any 20th century socialist state, whose public sector makes up 58% of its GDP?

It's pretty obvious Iran was staying on the sidelines (even letting Hamas members get assassinated in Iran), until they got forcibly dragged by Israel and America though
I wish Iran spent more time saving oppressed Shia (Azerbaijan, Bahrain etc) and fortifying the Axis of Resistance before sending our people to die for Palestinians that hate us

One thing I find so unconscionably awful is the normie idea of a "break-up." I can't imagine spending years loving a person and then saying "yeah, just pretend I never existed." If suicide is murdering the future, then a break-up is killing your past. It's a totally inhuman act.

Israel is unwilling or unable to address a terrorist threat within its borders. I’ve been told this means other states can now use lethal military force in self defence against Israel. Just saying. This is how international law works, right?

Being a zoomer is having only grown up with deconstructing stories having never known the original story
Growing up as a Zoomer is surreal because you see writers mocking the "Knight saves princess from dragon" trope but the only popular non-Sleeping Beauty story that plays it straight is the legend of St. George. Not even Beowulf or most Arthurian stories fit that criteria.

As Jasper urged Heidi to run, she gasped “I can’t, let me die.” I may have, too, if I was injured like this at 63. With Jasper’s help she got to Palestinian rescuers. One put this Jewish mother on his back & carried her. I never want to hear “try being Jewish in Ramallah” again.
Latest on Heidi Levine: broken rib, four broken vertebrae, her finger was nearly cut off, multiple potential stabbing wounds. Surgery first thing in the morning.

incredible how society has built a magical "do complicated thing for me faster than humanly possible" button and half of society is just collectively refusing to even consider using it to appease weird trannies
AI is now being used to help decompile games you own. Decompwtf is an open-source project that lets AI coding agents work through a game’s compiled code and reconstruct it as C/C++. >The reconstructed code is compiled and compared against the original game binary producing the exact same machine code. >It supports projects targeting systems including N64, PS1, PS2, GameCube, Wii, GBA and DS. >The project can also continue existing community decompilation projects, potentially making large-scale decompilation work much faster. >It runs locally, with no account or game data uploads required. github.com/i12bp8/decomp.wtf

Rule of law is completely non existent in that country. Keeping that in mind when I hear phrases like "Western" or "Only Democracy" again.
Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks. Caught in the attack was Post photographer Heidi Levine. “They just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,” Levine said. wapo.st/4yt6dHY
