My first time on YouTube, and it's on the @raycast channel.
Lots of small tips in there: how I test MCPs, my morning automations, extensions I ask Raycast to build for me, and my coding setup, etc.
Talking to a camera in English was harder than I expected (sorry for the 🥐 accent), but it genuinely makes me want to do more public speaking.
Thanks to the Raycast team for having me.
In this What's in my Raycast, @hugorcd shows how he tests MCPs, runs automations every morning, dictates in French and gets English, and asks Raycast AI to build his own extensions.
A must watch!

See you there! 👋
Our team is hitting the road this month with 2 events in 2 cities with our friends at @meetgranola and @raycast:
October 22 (SF) - Craft at Speed
@brendanrc2 and @figma talk shipping polished software fast, with plenty of time to chat with speakers and other guests.
October 29 (Paris) - The New Standard
@artman and engineering leaders from Raycast and @mistralAI will share what they've learned about shipping in the AI era, from architecture and reliability to how we hire, and what we’re building toward in 2027.
Another week, another round of improvements:
📁 File Search: up to 6× faster results
🧩 Extensions: installs and updates about 4× faster
🧠 Startup: about 20% less memory
📜 Scrolling: smoother than ever
📈 ...and over 40 fixes

Use the Send Element to AI command to turn any text or image on your screen into context.
Just ask:
“What does this error mean?”
“Explain this chart.”
“Give me three alternatives to this.”
I use it with a double-tap of the right ⌥ key.
🥖 The New Standard is coming to Paris!
October 29th from 6-10pm.
Discussion panel:
- @thomaspaulmann from Raycast
- @artman from @linear
- Théo Carrive from @MistralAI
Spots are limited.

This week, we co-hosted a lunch and learn with @NotionHQ in London.
@thomaspaulmann demoed how he uses Raycast and Notion together to write blog posts and stay on top of his todo list.
Thanks @Jasnam_sidhu and team.

App hotkeys are one of my favorite @raycast features.
A few from my setup:
⌥+ A → Dia (previously @arcinternet)
⌥ + L → @linear
⌥ + N → @notion
⌥ + S → @SlackHQ
Press once to bring the app forward. Press again to hide it.

I fixed something that was really bothering me in @raycast where deleting a hotkey from Root Search looked flickery, quickly flashing a few states in a row whilst the action panel closed.
Much more solid now! Will be out in this week's release.
