The Canadian CL-415 in action over LA.
Amphibious 'Super Scooper' airplanes from Quebec, Canada are picking up seawater from the Santa Monica Bay to drop on the Palisades Fire. Great vid from Las Vegas reporter @CristenDrummond.

Spent this past week guiding a group from Eureka Valley over to Death Valley, from sand dunes, over a mountain pass and then across some extraordinary river washes and alluvial into the basin of Death Valley. ❤️ Made tons of memories with old friends and new ❤️

Today marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, we remember the thousands of Indigenous children forced to attend residential schools and reflect upon the impacts on their families and communities.
